Looks very promising. Do you know how this compares to the DD 1008? That is my other option right now.

I will not be selling these direct after the pre-order and MSRP pricing is $399 -- although, street pricing is up to dealers. Don't expect to get the pre-order price after the sale, though.

Could you send me an e-mail to [email protected] ? The prices are shipped to the continental states. I can get you a quote to Hawaii, just e-mail me so I have a way to directly e-mail you back! Thanks for your interest

The pre-order price is lower than anything I can find on the BMF 1000D... looking at the BMF 1000D, it looks like a very solid amp. I would imagine the two would compare very well to one another. I don't have measurements on this model yet. Since it's not geared towards SPL I found it less critical, but I will get some when production models come in. Sounds tempting, I wqs actually refering to the deminsions....I will be replacing my BMF 1000D and need something with the same foot print or smaller. 260(W) x 51(H) x 294(L) in millimeters. 10.23" (W) x 2.00" (H) x 11.57" (L).

Great results Rob! Looking forward to more

That is not a problem. Send me an e-mail to [email protected] and I can provide you with more details.

Dividing by two works fine. We have not tested them un-strapped at high voltage specifically.

Jacob, who is on the team and how do people get on the team? People apply for the Team by contacting me about it. There are 23 team members at this time. I review as much information as they can provide me with, such as: experience in SPL, plans for the season, number of shows they have attended and/or intend to go to, photos of current and past installs, records held, and any other unique information regarding their position. If I feel like they would be a good addition to the Team they get to join. I don't promote the Team as I get a ton of e-mails as it is requesting to be on the team and I can't let everyone on Most Team members have quite a bit of experience. A few Team members I let on because I am interested in their projects for the season and I think they will do well despite their limited experience.

Ricky, Production has started Team members get first dibs on these... I have a feeling that most of them will be going to the Team.

I believe that is $115 shipped in USD -- is that correct Steve?

To quite obviously hear a difference you would need around 2200 watts assuming no power compression. That would gain you 3dB which is twice as loud by pressure -- to your ear 10dB is twice as loud and on bass it's difficult to hear small gains of 1 - 2dB. Since you are using only one speaker we will assume it has a fair amount of power compression... so we'll say more like 2700+ watts to be "obviously" louder. Check the SPL meter, that is where a smaller power upgrade will show up.

Jeff, Hopefully I'll see you around more! I'm sure that one of these days you'll be running Sundown

The 75.2 will have an MSRP price of around $199 or so. This is subject to change as materials prices are going up just about every week so it may require adjustment when it's release comes around.

* Top Left : SAE-75.2 * Top Right : SAE-50.4 * Bottom: SAZ-3000D * Same as above Just in a few minutes ago...

The only Rockford T5001bd amps I find within the price range of this pre-order are refurbished with 90 day warranties -- and they still cost a bit more. Brand new ones look like around $550 shipped per pair on e-bay with, at best, a 1 year warranty through an e-bay seller. The Rockford T5001bd goes for $499 fully authorized at Crutchfield, down from the $649 MSRP, with a factory warranty. Sonic Electronix sells them for $369 with their own 1 year warranty. The RF amp looks pretty solid, don't get me wrong. But apples to apples if you consider support and warranty this pre-sale is a better deal. You also have the option to strap the SAE-1000D whereas the RF does not have that feature.

SOLD to katsooba.

For sale. One SAZ-1500D, brand new in box. This unit has a blemish on the finish, but is otherwise brand new. I inspect each one before it goes out and caught this one: $475 shipped in the continental USA. This amplifier carries full warranty coverage.

I think he is more about SPL then SQ. May be wrong tho... True enough... but the Mag can do SPL if you want it to We have a pair of SAZ-1500Ds on 2x Mag 12s in my brothers truck doing 146.8 dB in nSPL no wall 0-24 and we aren't done yet. -
