Unloaded this morning :

Shipped out a couple today -- the rest of the pre-orders are tested for tomorrow. * - Except for 12D2 -- they got separated and are either in the other container or the LTCL due around the end of October.

Despite the tall top plate they are still over-hung -- theoretically I could put a short under-hung coil in there, though.

We'll need to get it over to dB-R for repairs as we just sold out of the 1500s temporarily. Fill out the dB-R.com repair request, tell him it's for warranty, and to contact me if any questions.

Back and top plate are done -- these are very similar to the "v1.75" unit I sent over to Pulse Car Audio a while back except the pole is 10mm taller.

Figured we wanted people to KNOW this is our frame

I've been busy... if you cannot tell by all the new product / new prototype threads the last two days. I've been quietly doing testing on some E line prototypes for a bit... and based on what I've learned, tested, etc this is what I've come up with for these guys. Rating will be 300-400 RMS pending a bit more testing on the end product. I've tested some other very good prototypes as well but I feel like these best represent a "Sundown Woofer" as in what our customers expect to get from us. These just finished up at our factory so I should have them in a week or two for some videos and whatnot. IMO these are a little different than what you are used to seeing from an entry line driver :thumbsup: Pricing Estimate from authorized dealer : E-10 : $105 E-12 : $110 E-15 : $130 All specs are with minimal break-in time. Frames will be black when produced. !!! I DO NOT HAVE THE ETA JUST YET !!! All of them feature foam surrounds, dust caps similar to the SA line, high excursion spiders, and excellent coil ventilation for an Entry level driver. I expect to be starting production this month -- so stay tuned for pre-ordering.

We have many customers running them in the suggested boxes and are very happy with them. You won't get a ton of impact from 8s in a sealed box -- that application is more to just fill in the bass a bit. We've always had excellent results from 0.6 vented on them -- impact, sound quality, etc.

That is the output filter inductor -- looks like the solder may have broken loose. If that is all that is wrong Chris could fix it easily. If it's major we actually do have a few complete spare boards for those still.

The first run of NS-1s sold out to dealers and Team members. We'll have more available on the next production run.

I am debating on how the line will look... I may keep a woofer very much like the current SA with some small mods and then move up the driver I was designing as the "SA-10/12/15 v.2" to the next line up and re-name in something like SAX... as I don't want to leave a big gap in pricing as the stuff I'm working on does involve a newly tooled cast frame (expensive). PS: I may do a sale this month... keeps your eyes open.
