Indeed... I'll have to track down a reputable factory to make home equipment for me. I'd like to use a very similar output stage to my SAX amps as they perform extremely well and people love them. I've got plenty of time, it would be a few years before I could make a line of home amps Now... I'd like to make powered home subs before then in association with SI. Nick and I have been thinking about making powered MAG subs for Home use for years.

There are still plenty of these to go around as of now!

I suggest a quality 200 amp unit with the best idle output you can get.

Sure, you could send a money order: Sundown Audio 151 Rebel Hill Dr. Mooresville, NC 28115 Include a note w/ you name, address, and forum name (in case I have a question) inside along with the MO in case the address is damaged on the envelope.

I would love to I absolutely want to do Home Audio in the future. Nick @ SI has done several home audio projects with his woofers and being that we work together on so many things this will very likely happen down the line. This certainly is not near-term... but eventually is something that I'll try to move into.

Two woofer prototypes added... the only ones of their kind ever made and ever to be made as they will never reach final production. Since they are completely unique and I cannot replace them I am unable to offer warranty past that they will work when you get them. SAX-250.2 Prototype has been SOLD. E12 Prototype has been sold to Big E.

Looking good Rich!

The un-named proto has been sold. More items coming soon.

Thread has been updated.

As of now Sundown doesn't do *any* full sponsorships. We have a Team program whereby qualified individuals can get discounts if they are allowed to join. The Team generally requires a good bit of experience or, at the least, some pretty darn impressive plans and goals.

Staying where it is, although I am updating the crossover ranges on the next run on the 100.2 and 100.4 to allow more flexibility. Eventually the 100.4 will get 24 dB slopes (that will be a while). Why did you choose the 12db slopes for these amps? Due to the way the crossover sub-boards are made that is how it had to be. I am investing in developing new sub-boards that will allow for 24 dB slopes on the 100.4 in the future. FYI, the 100.2 has 18 dB slopes and all the Class-D amps have 24 dB slopes.

Yes, the SAZ and SAX amps are rated at 12.8 volts. The SAE are rated at 13.8 volts.

*back to the top of pinned list*

Yessir, indeed there are... around 8 or 9 I believe.

Nice try... I'll send some up to someone who knows how to work a gain knob... which apparently nobody in attendance at that testing would recognize one if they saw it.

There are some 15" Mags left

Any way you slice it... developing a new board is extremely expensive. And yah... I don't know what their problem is with my products!

It is something I want to do later on for sure. I need to get some serious engineering done to accomplish that so I'm going to have to wait to get myself more established. Just got myself an enterprise quality color laser printer... so I'll be mailing out Sundown brochures soon

I would say it probably does between 1300-1400 watts @ 1.5 ohms. Maybe even 1500, but I haven't benched mine at that high of an impedance. Correct, it will produce around 1300 watts @ 12.8 volts @ 1.5 ohms.

It is quite likely that the Z series will only carry my very large amps in the future... as my upcoming SAE amps will be *very* good
