http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=11327 Post #9 in this thread seems to indicate that you would like the 1000D. You do have a few benefits outside of any sound benefits... as you said before, you can contact me if you want I have extremely fast warranty service, I will replace the amp in about 90% of cases so you have a new unit coming back to you quickly. You can strap the 1000Ds if you want another one later.
-
Glad to see you got it
-
Ross, Did you give them the right address? If so... I shipped an amp that was stolen from in front of an apartment. UPS covered it under insurance.
-
Corey, If you can even begin to say that the 9500 sounds good then, yes, this sounds about as good as the 9500
-
Scott can make you an 18" assembly for the XXX. I have four of them on the way to me now, actually

One Refurbished SAZ-1500D added to the list.

Full power testing on the 1500D is sticky @ the top -- for regular voltage and 16+ volt systems. Check those posts out. If you are a consumer than you need to contact a dealer for pricing, Aaron @ SSA would be a good one to try If you are an SPL competitor with a verifiable history and solid plans for the season then you may be qualified to buy from me directly. If you feel that you may be qualified contact me at [email protected] and we can talk. I generally just swap out a new amp for warranty I'm sure someone around here can vouch for that for me. I don't have alot of warranty work to begin with, though, but in general I send a new unit and I worry about fixing the old one and re-selling it as refurbished.

Ouch man! A pair of 1500Ds would do nicely @ 2.3 ohms strapped

Sweet car and system

2 15inch Q's + Sundown SAZ- 3000D amp to much power?
sundownz replied to Smondo17's topic in Fi Products
A pair of Qs will handle an SAZ-3000D un-clipped on music no problem. Just don't get crazy with sine waves for extended periods of time -
Sure will The SAE-1000D is a solid little amp! I've installed a few locally (very rarely I will do an install for some extra cash) for some people and they can't believe that such a small amp is so powerful... I swapped one in for a giant 30" long "SPL" amp for one of my Spanish speaking associates and it totally blew the SPL amp out of the water. He had me put two big Sundown stickers on his car he was so pleased

Is this spam or a user in the wrong section... ?!

Eight 3000Ds... wow... I thought my four was alot in the truck
-
Awesome Glad to hear it!!!

I have no idea how people blow BTLs... I'll be honest. We had two 1500Ds strapped on one WIDE open... for like 2 hours at the ROE roundup... and it was showing no signs of strain at all. If you run 3kw at a reasonable load (eg: not 0.35 per amp) like 2 ohms... it would take some serious, serious, abuse to hurt it.
-
I don't want to run against you either *laughs* Your van is loud! I still have work to do before I can start driving it to shows, but it'll be out there as soon as I can get it going!
-
Actually, every photo that you asked for is on our site http://www.sundownaudio.com
-
Corey, Unfortunately I do not. It's not an extremely high priority model as it is more of a "niche" product, although, I am hoping to have it out mid next year.

Yes I can't wait to see em' installed.
