Has someone sent one to FI or do I need to post the gap dimensions ? I have four more of those motors in the shop.
-
Send me an e-mail about the screws, it'll just cost postage -- [email protected] You can swap the center plate, but the part number will be upside down -- I will remedy this in later revisions by printing the part number mirrored in the opposite corner as well. As for swapping the board the other way -- you will have to drill all new holes for the MOSFET retainers and flip the whole PCB. Big PITA.

All four amps pending sale.
-
*laughs* I won't stop you from buying 24

Awesome results guys! Glad to hear about them
-
You will gain a small amount of output stepping up to 900 watts @ 1 ohm. I've heard many setups with the originals with 400 watts and they sound great, these will perform just as well on low power. Of course, in such small enclosures as they will generally be used in the extra power will help to get them moving even more when needed for bass-head moments and they won't really have a problem with it thermally
-
Just fine, they will do great with 200 watts RMS like the originals -- they are just as efficient, but they have more capacity for thermal power handling Displacement on these is negligable, about 0.07 ft^3

Awesome, congrats!

I am thinking about using 120 of them in my truck

I need to make my tc10 happier! What are some good amps??

An SAZ-1500D @ 2 ohms (if you have DVC model) is a great match for that sub. -
At what impedance ?
-
My proto will likely be here next week!
-
Once you buy them you are free to do whatever you want with them
-
Looking forward to results!
-
Four of these would be sweet in any setup! Which amp ?
-
I've had a few calls in the past couple days... may be a few more Sundown amps there as well
-
Gap is pretty massive Nick Wider than the DD 9500G gap, easily fits a pretty hefty 8-layer round-wire copper coil.
-
Good luck Ricky!
-
I need some subs out, just how it is The 250.2 is still on the agenda.
-
The two SD-1 / SAX-100.2 package is a *great* sounding package. I have that setup in my Civic
-
That will be very very nice. My pair of original SD-1s on a 100.2 sounds great... can't wait to install two of these SD-1 v.2s on a 1000D!
-
I'm still working on it, no worries
-
Just a few so far I only posted it yesterday, after all.
-
They will, they sound great I'm putting two in my Civic as soon as they come in to replace my original SD-1s.

Me too It's in the process of parts acquisition to make a new prototype.
