1) Yes, you can tune them to 28 Hz -- use the larger end of the spectrum at 1.25 ft^3 each. That gives a very good response. 2) Use 25 - 30 in^2 of area. At 25 in^2 that is 30" long, at 30 in^2 that is 36.5" long for your 28 Hz tuning.

u mean my remote going to my amp?if so ill check.u ever known of someone haven that kind of problem w alpines? Maybe I understood you wrong, the amp shuts off or the radio? If the radio... then thats different. I would check your radio wiring, sounds to me like a wire is loose and is intermittently losing connection. Probably the main power or ground to the radio. I have not heard of a particular problem with Alpine head units doing anything like that, no.

I sell several types of amps on the forum: 1) Used -- Either traded in from the Team or a friend, or I may have had it on display at a show or used it myself. For whatever reason I sometimes end up with an amp that has been used at one point. These are usually sold with a 1-year warranty. 2) B-Stock -- These amps have cosmetic damage from the factory, otherwise they are brand new. These are usually sold with a 1-year warranty. 3) Refurbished -- Usually returned from a customer for warranty work, I almost always send a brand new replacement to the customer. The refurbished amp is the "old amp" from the customer after it has been repaired and fully tested. These are usually sold with a 90-day warranty. Reliability has been fine on the refurbished. I have them repaired by a very good technician, he tests his work, then I test it again after him.

Cut out is 9 1/8"

Maybe your remote lead is loose somewhere ?

Lots of things sold. Will update the list with a few b-stock items in the next few days.

Oh... you are talking about running "tri-mode" on each set of channels eh ? If so... then you won't be able to use the crossovers on the amp without have weird response from the coaxials. Rarely someone would want to do this to run speakers and a woofer from the amp... but it requires passives to be effective.
-
If your front components have passive crossovers thats fine.
-
You can run 16v daily but you need a separate 12v system -- this means one 12v alternator and another 16v alternator.

Everyone loves re-cones... can I guess who Brand X is? *laughs*

Cool! -
Yah, the Esoteric work well and look pretty I use all kinds of cheapy Scosche and generic RCAs in my SPL truck, they work great.
-
Still a good bit off... that still wasn't quite what I wanted out of it. Better cooling and suspension will happen before production.
-
Several prototype and re-built subwoofers added

no. you cannot possibly state that with the info given. the spl 12 is a potent driver. I'm sure the nightshade will be very nice as well, but it will be install dependant. bottom line- there isn't near enough info to state anything of that nature, just yet. Sorry, I should have clarified, I meant in size and beefiness of the sub, not in numbers necessarily. Either way I am sure it will give either of those 2 a run for their money and adds another option to Fi, DD, RE, Mach 5, Audioque and Treo for an awesome SPL sub. Indeed, it is quite beefy. Measurement wize I think it is larger than any of those with triple 1" x 9" slugs. Size isn't everything as I did not over-motor the sub. It is made to be listenable with acceptable box response daily, since I realize not everyone competes in SPL, so every tenth of SPL output was not the prime target -- it has a 0.40 Qts and an Fs of 38-40 Hz after break-in time on the 12" model. It should do quite well on the meter still, though, the motor is as strong as many competitive subs that I have measured like the DD 9500F and the BTL.

Pre-order over in only 8 days, get em now if you want this price

Jim, Some of the expensive ones don't make good contact with the ground pin for some reason. --- The cheapy RCA cables always work
-
That is the second largest Sundown Audio sticker I have seen, nice
-
I need a design for shirts... black shirt with white print. LMK what you come up with
-
I just cleaned it a few days before that picture *laughs*
-
I'm quite happy with the result... I may even use these in my Civic daily since I can make a narrower box and save trunk space.
-
*laughs* One can only go so fast when it has to be just right
-
It is a beast alright I'm very pleased... hoping to get them to production soon in 12" and 15" sizes initially.
