Indeed, they are extremely efficient at 2 ohms You'll start seeing real power from them at 1 ohm, though
-
I don't think Chad took any videos since his testing was cut short due to low battery voltage.
-
Ah I see. I still have the only one Yup. I did get my hands on the other proto motor like yours, the woofer itself was destroyed in shipping but I finally got the motor from it. I may be able to make you another one, although, it won't have that CF dust cap unless you can find one.
-
Yes, that is correct. The 100.4 is underrated around 10% or so.
-
Whats the difference? Quite a few things changed from yours to the model going to production. Yours has a shorter magnet stack and a 4-layer coil as opposed to an 8-layer coil, the top plate and back plate geometry is also different.
-
Use a set of Y adapters and use all four inputs.
-
hows the cam on vids...does it pick up the bass well? 80 Not sure yet... I'll test that when I get home.
-
Drinking too much isn't in the budget, so I'm good I'm sure it'll be a blast!
-
Yours is different, but was a pretty impressive model as well I have another proto motor almost identical to yours, FYI.
-
Still working on the details... but I'd like to have them out in 3-4 months. MSRP should be around 80 dollars. I have not decided on a pre-sale price yet, though.
-
My camera made it in time! So I'll have pics

I'd be interested if it is a legit product, it is extremely inexpensive in 100 ft^2 rolls on e-bay. If it is indeed a legit butyl product with a quality aluminum back it would be the best bang for the buck deadener out there from the looks of it. Looking forward to some tests Rudy.

They are rated for 6 volts input. One of the other features of the Maxx-Link is that it straps the amps differently so the slave amp is less likely to go into protection under a full out SPL burp.
-
That was a 12, I believe a Toyota 4-Runner.
-
Several have tested them in Street -- Ray Farmer on Team Sundown was seeing ~7600 from his pair on a DD Battery. He posts on the forum so perhaps he can chime in with more details for you.

Mmmmm... maybe something about some changes I was working on for the 3000D that I discussed with some Team members -- didn't pan out how I wanted (would require an entirely new PCB) so the PCB board did not actually change.
-
I may replace the SAZ-1500D with an SAE-1500D once the SAZ-2000D is released -- that is not quite set in stone yet as the SAZ-1500D is still extremely popular
-
Yah, something like that. 200-amp fuse rating is correct.
-
Glad I could help Looking forward to seeing you how do!

I ordered my new 12 MP Casio Exilim that I've been wanting since I broke my 5 MP Exilim... so I'll have pics from the show.
-
Good news... I have a new camera on the way. So I'll start having pics of the amps again
-
Almost no apparent cosmetic change. I love the current look, the face is the same. I made the heatsink 10mm taller and placed a BUNCH of fins under the face of the amp. There are also a couple more fins on the side -- very minor change, there is no longer a space between the small side fins. Neat design... the hot air will go up inside the case and out the sides of the fins which are open to air. A flush mount amp rack would allow forced air from fans to flow through those fins as well.
-
Awesome! Congrats, glad the amps are serving you well
-
Correct, eventually all the amps will get the new heatsink as more are built.

Seal it... it has like a 30 Hz F3 sealed IIRC. I was going to do a sealed XXX 18 in my home but I sold em' all.
