Home sick today... may be the flu. So I am not getting to e-mails and PMs... just resting a bit so I can get back to work ASAP.
-
I'm back... whatever was wrong w/ me seems to be gone. So it did not appear to be the flu... or it was the quickest flu ever.
-
*redneck voice* Yeeeeap... thats yer problem right there!
-
It will be hard to fit the port in the box for any less than two of these.
-
I have not caught up on all e-mails yet.

UPDATE: Under NO condition will I *EVER* send out used merchandise through the trade-in program at any point from now on. I have made a few exceptions on this but it is not worth the potential hassle. Any trade-ins will have the credit applied towards NEW product ONLY. Do not ask.

Looks good Fabio

Yes. I will post when they are out.

My prototype was delayed until some time after the 8th.

Yes, a re-cone is pretty well in order for that.

Okay guys... here it is. If you order between NOW and the end of February... $825 for one $815 for two (each) $800 for four or more (each) If you order any time from March 1st until they arrive... $850 for one $825 for two (each) $810 for four or more (each) Paypal me at [email protected] to Pre-Order! The current ETA is around May 11th to May 20th -- this is a rough estimate. As always, with a pre-order the ETA is subject to change based on shipping delays, etc, etc. PLEASE do not pre-order unless you are okay with any delays that may occur. We are expecting around 3800 on a 12v electrical system from these and over 6000 on a 16v electrical system They feature 33% more output FETs than the current 3000D... a quad transformer setup (more efficient)... and solid core wire output inductors (more reliable)... among other minor changes we made to enhance reliability. These will have the "new style" SAZ casing and the width is the same as the current SAZ amps. It is around 2.6" longer than the current SAZ-3000D.

Been on hold for a bit... but once I get back from MECA Finals I plan to start working on it some more.
-
Can I get a pic of the tuning side of the 3500D

Yep, all the same. -
Under-powering ? It's an 18v system. It's also for bass-race / continuous play and not burps.
-
It is too loud to play inside -- when we get it outside again we will do it. If we play inside the shop it knocks everything down in my office.

Congrats Do you have a Class-D amp in there ? They have a mechanical relay in there to decouple the output - it will click. We have also found any hiss to be highly install dependent even in SQ competition -- same 7 amps out of one SQ car into another that has scored nothing but perfect in the "system noise" category.
-
So... the other day I shipped an amp to the town I grew up in -- Severn, MD. Thought that was cool 2.8 miles from the house I used to live in.
-
Derrick can custom make pretty much whatever you want.
-
I don't really like fans in car amps... they make noise and are another item to fail over time.
