    Sundown SAE-1200D v.2 Pre-Sale OPEN

    It is very possible.

    Sundown in Hawaii = Loud

Duct tape works well to seal holes and hole aero-ports together (especially if you plan to take them apart later).

    50.4 bridged power

4x50 @ 4 ohms -- bridged is like 2 ohm stereo operation in power.
  4. sundownz

    125.2 @ 8 ohm

I think you are thinking too hard I'd adjust it by ear to match the mids.

What size speake wire for 2 BLs and 2600w Amp

12 awg is plenty big and likely oversized for your application... 14 awg would still be fine.

    125.2 @ 8 ohm

    The amps are not regulated.

    SAE-100.4 Factory Pictures

It is a different board, build house, parts, casing, all that.

    50.4 bridged power

You can expect 10-15% extra, on average, from the SAX multi-channels.

    SAE-100.4 Factory Pictures

I expect MSRP to be under $299 based on early estimates... but I cannot estimate actual pricing of a pre-order or regular MAP yet.

    SAE-100.4 Factory Pictures

This model has VERY basic crossovers... selectable HPF / LPF with no subsonic. LPF = 50-250 Hz HPF = 50-1000 Hz Prototype has selectable bass boost but I may just remove that. It is also made at the same Chinese factory as our SAE-1200D rather than in Korea like the SAX-100.4
  11. This part is a spacer / shorting ring / heat-sink for the Z v.2 model. These are made right down the street from us here in Troutman, NC at a family owned machine shop. Great guys down there... they also did our aluminum Nightshade v.1 pole plugs. Just got these in... testing so far has not included them but they will be standard on production models. A few pictures : Should I powder coat them or leave them raw aluminum color ?

Sundown Z v.2 -- Cool new part preview

Triple joint ring installed : Custom sub I am building for a customer... so I tried one out on there It is glued with thick CA at the bottom @ the spiders, thin CA is filled in for the thickness of the ring between it and the former, then thick CA applied again on the coil winding side in the angled part on the back of the ring. Gives alot of glue surface area and makes it VERY hard to break the rear joint.

    Nightshade v.2 Teaser Picture

Still a 3" coil driver -- I expect power handling on par with my Monster... which handled power like a 4" coil Cost will not be a whole lot more than the v.1 model was.

    Nightshade v.2 Teaser Picture

I have a Neo in the works for the future... but it doesn't fit in the Nightshade price bracket.

    Nightshade v.2 Teaser Picture

They are VERY expensive... so this is not Neo.

    Overpowering BTL

It is pretty difficult to blow a BTL... it is not uncommon for me to hear from customers running SAZ-3000s and 3500Ds on their BTLs without tearing them up.
