Yes. The sub weighs 55lbs. With packing it will be around 65lbs. Shipping to most states will hover around the $80 mark.

Are you referring to the MJ-18? There are a lot of folks who use the MJ in IB configs with success. The IXL is new so you won't see many (if at all) right now. A number of IBers took part in the pre-order and are currently working on getting them built. Perhaps check the Cult periodically. I'm sure someone will post their thoughts... m

These will be going into the Bonne once everything is in place. Can't wait to dump the Bose.

There's no replacement for displacement. The 4 MJ-18's will displace more than two IXL's, but keep in mind that the low end cutoff on the MJ's will be sooner given their higher Fs. This means more EQing on your part to achieve the ultra lows. If you have the right EQ and enough power, it should not be a problem. Have you checked out the Cult for any information? Best, m

I should be getting a commission for every SAZ amp sold to drive these... I don't know the output of this amp you mention, but I'm assuming its 3kw into 1 Ohm. If you want loud, this driver will do it for you. Best, m

yeah thank him. mark, you're a jerk. because i can't afford one of these at this moment. you bastage, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Sure you can. Just sell one of your dogs. This is a givaway price. Dig deep.... m

That would depend on what your car resonant frequency would be. But the higher you tune, the higher the output peak will become. If you want heavy bass for daily tune it for 35Hz; for the lanes, probably 40 - 45Hz. The config is 2 * 2 Ohm nominal; the DCR is 1.8 Ohms per coil. Best, m

Yeah, please ignore the box numbering. That was a mistake made by the OEM. Sorry.

Great stuff. Thanks for the update on the screws. I will have to look into it. m

Thanks Neil.

Thanks for posting those extra pictures Chad - good stuff. Yeah, as Chapter mentioned, this unit would like a fairly large box, and will get a real nice peak going for that added output. The impedance slope between resonance and port tuning is nice and steep, so you'll get great output from both driver and port. I will have to double-check my numbers but I believe Xmax to be around 17mm. Best, Mark

Ok, the ordering info is up. Thanks for being patient with me. Now, to answer a few questions you guys posted: 10" Model - Undetermined at this point. If the pre-order goes well AND they continue to sell thereafter, we could be looking at other sizes. Voice coil config - The unit is a dual 2 Ohm voice coil configuration. Depth - The SPL 12 is 7 1/2" deep Displacement in Box - The unit will displace 280 cubic inches or 0.16 cubic feet. Logo - I could look into getting a nice rubber logo that you can glue onto the dustcap. This will cost extra however. Thanks, Mark

I'll post more info on the pre-order tomorrow. Thanks for looking...

I believe they are #8 - 1 1/4" black Phillips wood screws. I can verify that when I get home.. m

Ok, its done. Please check the sticky.. m

"...being broke never sounded so good." Hahaha! I like it! That should be the next slogan. Curious tho, why would you put clay on a cast basket that is so small to begin with? m

Just as bad here, though I read more people on CCA in SK interested in competing than in MB. One of the Visions stores sometimes throws a competition once a year. i think it gets more popular further you head west. manitoba is the sinkhole for a lot of things.
