Not sure what you are asking Corey. What did you have in mind for this thing? Can you go with a nice big enclosure? What are your limitations besides cost?
-
More like 400 each - should be fine..
-
You should head to Calgary. They are in disparate straits there for finding good people...
-
Make it happen...

You would be surprised at how the midbass sounds on the MJ's. Try it...
-
As Jim suggested, 28-30Hz will be fine for music in the home. You can use 4.5 cubes and get that nice punchy sound the MJ produces.

Hi Jordy et al, I was hoping to get something firmed up this week but it it appears I won't be hearing from them until next week. As soon as I hear something, you will. Best, m

I guess I'm just an ugly duckling in the bunch. I personally prefer more rear with a front fill than the other way around. I always found this type of fill to be more satisfying to the ear. I do/did however like the sound coming from Puggsley's system though; and that only had fronts. Not enough mid-bass though and I made him aware of it too... -
So things are happening tomorrow (Saturday August 25). Here's hoping folks can make it out. Club Regent Casino parking lot. Comp starts at noon; registration from 10:00am to noon.

It will not be the 12 spoke I'll tell you that much...

We would all want that now wouldn't we?

I may be "older" but you're ugly. I can act younger than my age (which I do - I'm talking to you right?) but you will still be ugly.

Sorry Corey, not yet. For as positive as the test went, there were also some negatives, so i have to figure out how to fix them before releasing anything that can be considered concrete... Best, Mark

Hi there, If you follow the recommendations on the site, you can use a 6" tube for either configuration. For the MAW-15 go with a 25" length; for the MJ-18 use a tube 22" long. Flair your ends if you can to minimize vent noise. Best, Mark

Well, the guy reviewing them for me said they blend better and are more musical than the DD but the DD got slightly louder. So, if its volume you want, I would suggest going the DD route. hth, Mark

DB Drag style.. I'm certain he will do much better once he firms up his van a little and gets a stable energy supply.
-
How loud do you need them? Really.. The MJ-18 was never intended to be a volume buster. The levels they currently produce in given environments, to me, is a pleasant surprise. The folks who use them in car audio seem to be content with the output they produce. The volume ddeitz produced was wayyyy more than what I would ever listen to, but then again, I'm just an old man.

If you mean I'm old enough to be your father, then yes. I can teach you a few things my son...

I'll find out next week where we stand.

I'm in the first picture.... and others. Yup, that's me with the big brain.

Hmmm....

You might want to train someone else. I might be entering the competition myself... I have a small surprise in mind.

Whoops! Got my numbers all fudged up. Ignore my statement on the port size/length above... For a slotted port you can go with 3" x 19" - 32" long.
