Does anyone know of any way to install subs into a chevy avalanche and still have the midgate useable? I use the thing like a truck but still want to get at least a 12 into it. I also have 3 kids so losing a seat is not an option. Help.

This amp is listed in the for sale section of this site. Asking $1500.00 but will negotiate if interested. I need to move this amp out soon.

Hey guys I was curious if anyone had any idea what a US Amps 3000 de 2006 model should sell for. It is still new in the box. I have one that I will be selling and would like some idea as to what to expect. I was going to use EBAY but after looking at amps there I am thinking twice. Any help would be appreciated. I dont want to lose too much money on this if possible. Thanks. Charles

I was thinking about the same thing. I just hate cutting into the truck.

Thanks I still build boxes for a shop in my area from time to time but could use more frequent work like that. -
Welcome. I have also been a member for a while but only read the posts. rarely responded.

The DD is the woofer I would use. I always did well with their 9500 series. I even have an old school 9515 a/b series woofer here for sale. Its been around for a while and still works great.

That is why I love car audio. Stuff like that brings a tear to my eye. Wish it was mine.

Cant go wrong with a digital designs woofer. 12 or 15.
-
Oh it will get loud if done right with enough power and the proper tuning.

my vote is for ooption b. Most songs dont have bass that low. At least I dont think they do. -
Being a woodworker I can attest to the abilities of the titebond products. I hate gorilla glue just because of what happens when you get it on your skin. It is very difficult to get off. I think the probond is just as good as titebond. The probond I got was a bit thicker.

Good Info. A must read.

anyone? Anyone want to make an offer?

The alternator is gonna be the bigger problem. If it is not putting out enough to keep up with your amp then it will slowly drain your system no matter what battery you buy.

Anyone have ant information on the new ax 3000de? Ijust picked one up and was wondering if there were any actual tests done to see what this thing actually puts out. I think i almost cried when i opened the box and saw the amp for the first time. What do you guys think of it?

i hit 154 db at world finals with 1 digital designs 9515 and 4 memphis 16-st1000d amps running it. 2 extra batteries and a 145 amp alt.
-
so has anyone else had any real world tests with this amp to confirm its ratings? Mine is still in my closet as the car is still being painted. I cant wait to try it out. I will have a 200 amp alt and 3 batteries running it so it should be a beast. I also picked up an ax 600 to run my doors. I cant wait.

i competed in the 161-260 class in IASCA with a single 15 a did very well. Took 4th place in world finals a few years ago. Just need the proper design and lots of power. Dont forget that an amp that puts out lots of power sucks in even more. Get batteries and upgrade your alternator. In my opinion capacitors are a waste of money. They discharge too fast for SPL.

I have a 15 inch rockford punch power hx2 for sale if you are interested. It has dual 2 ohm coils. It is a pretty sweet looking woofer. I can send pics if you want.

what are the prices of the 2 that you got?

the car is a 1990 honda prelude. hard to get parts for. the most i found so far is 190 amps direct bolt on but i want more. not much room to retrofit something else either.
