looks big enough, for the two subs, even though your running the port toward or through the back seat, you might need some sound dampener, hope it come out nice

yea it does not sound like the amp, you still need to check the output with a MM while playing music if there is none chances are its your line output converter... u then need to get RCAs to an ipod and check it again if it works then its your line out converter, if it still dont work and your not getting a reading on your MM it may very well may be your amp....

ya im in the same boat as u if i wanted to get another SSD i dont wanna wire them parallel and 1 in a series and dont have the money or another amp... 2.4cubic feet i hope that is a sealed enclosure, ya if you buy a circular saw it would be awesome but its gonna be hard to get it straight when i build a box, i cut an extra inch with the circular saw then i run the peice i cut through a table saw and cut that extra inch off to get it perfectly straight

if your gonna go with another w6 you might need more than 1000 watts to get the full potential, also the right size box and tuned correctly is also a big deal, 20%equiptment and 80%install is where your SQ comes in. I had a 12" W7, i loved the clarity of it crisp and clean get low, and was like you wanted louder but not to loose the SQ that it had, i bought a FI SSD 15 in a 4 cubic feet box tuned to 33hz, im amazed by it, it puts out, and gets down low, and im running an AQ 1200 on it, it only needs 800rms although they are coming out with the new ones im not sure of its rms. Just a few ideas, if you decide to get another W6 and a correctly tuned box, it would be awesome to.

Kicker has a fixed subsonic filter. Its either on and off, and since you owned one, shouldn't you know that? And since when isn't Kicker good quality? What do you suggest that is so much better?( I'm not saying their isn't) OP, MTX 9500s can get quiet loud, and honestly one SA15 at 750rms probably won't be as loud as two 12 9500s on 1500rms(I'm assuming this.) yes i relized that after posting did some searching, i dont see why they cant but a selectable knob instead of a switch, i dont see the use in that (my opinion), however there amps are actually pretty good, my zx lasted and never had a problem with it, however my AQ is much better, it dont get hot, and i find the SQ is better, now kicker as far as there subs i dont care for them, i find no SQ from them, but some people love them and work great for them, so sorry for speaking,, listening is learning

yes i have the BT edition not the DVD, it is awsome i love the HU, the equalizer is pretty nice, the clarity of the videos on it are nice, the picture background is a deff plus, the blue tooth is pretty nice,but i dont use it as much as i thought i would. they only bad thing is that, it doesnt come with a remote another way for pioneer to make money off you, but my remote from my previouse pioneer HU workes fine, the USB is on the front which personally i dont like, The biggest thing i hate is that you must have the stupid specially ipod cord to watch videos of your ipod (another way to make money) they sell them for 45$ or you can get a no name brand for 20 off ebay....or you can jail break your iphone/ipod.... but besides that i love it

well im looking for 1ohm which isnt possible, so if i did get another it be .5 ohm or 2 ohm...... i dont have enough amp with 1200aq to push two 15's at 2ohms, and im not gonna run it at .5 ohms, so the only other option i have is if i sent it to fi got it switch, and then have them build me another with the old motor and magnet, i emailed them earlier they said they could bc they got a few last gen motors and magnets, but im not looking to spend that kind of money. So I AM A stick with my 1 15, then maybe later on sell it and get a diffrent set up maybe a btl or something.......... thanks for all yalls help its truly appreciated

i have a FI SSD 15, the last generation with all the add ons. I want to get another FI SSD 15 to be louder, BUT will it make a difference if i bought a new one with the NEO magnet, I realy dont want to miss match woofers. So will it make a difference if i bought a new one with a neo magnet and run it with the one i have now without a neo magnet, if so what difference will i notice? and will it be a big one?

it should be pretty close. it depends on the box, your amp, and what size of the vehical you have. sealed with 2 will proboly have close to one ported in bass. but having ported you will have more pressure to the ear. it will be close but like i said, post some specs about the set up you have and what u want to have with 2 12's and maybe someone a little more experieced can help you out better.... first thing i learned here was the sound u produce is 20%equipment and 80%installation

What kind of coils do you have now. I have two SSDs (last gen) in the for sale section that are fully loaded and are D1s. copper flat wind i think they are called, no im looking for D2's, it sucks that they changed it, i emailed them see if they could build me custom to match the one i have now or see if i could send mine off get it reconed and the magnet changed to the newer one

...when you own subs and amp parts before you had a vehical ...broke as hell but sell stuff to buy another sub even though u have 3 ...change setups more than you change your oil ...your 6 passenger crew cab goes to a 3 passengers in front ...your speakers cost more than the vehical ...when your girl friend hates riding with you because its not romantic and you cant talk ...you take joy and pride from shaking windows at the store or setting off car alarms on accident ...you sit in a empty lot or drive way to listen to every song ...when you pull up at the store and leave ur music wide open ...when the fedex/ups man ask you what your installing now i cant think of anymore..... this is a funny post

ya thats what i was thinking bc around here i can get more than what i paid for the sub.. espesially if I sell it with the box. Im not a fan of mis matching neither.... i dont want to buy a used one bc i dont like buying used subs. another frend said email Fi see if they could change my magnet to a neo and order another on or see if they could make me one without a neo magnet.

ya 6x9 is not what you want... i know alot of people dont care for them but pioneer makes very good 6.5's.

just a few ideas real quick Iv had a zx series kicker amp. Mine didn't have a sub sonic filter, so you might want to check that as it will be needed for good sound quality and the life of your sub unless you want to bottom out your sub especially if your over powering . Otherwise sell it get a smaller amp with good quality and have a setup you would like. Also im still not exactly sure of you price range but look into FI they have a huge selection of different subs suited to different power applications. But out of the choices you provided id go with the sundown or the incriminator. what ever you choose to do i hope all goes well

ya, im not sure.. after getting this 1 15" it was loud now i want to be louder.... i dont know maybe in the next month or so. Im not sure if i can run 2 15's on a 1200aq

I have a FI SSD 15. (bp power, flat coil) I currently have it in a 18x18x38 box tuned to 34-36hz somewhere in there. aprox 4 cubes. Im thinking of building a new box, what should i tune it to, and how many cubes? i find my box has a slight bit of port noise because there are no 45s and it doesnt go as quite low as i want it to. Iv heard other ssd 15's hit harder than mine, so im trying to squeeze every thing i can out of the sub. also with the box the way it is now, what should my Amp be set at? Lowpass and subsonic? If it matters: its going in a crew cab GMC, powered by a AQ1200. thanks, in advance all help is appreciated
