so people are telling me to just scrub the 4th order idea because that design i came up with wouldn't sound good might just wall 8 like originally

tbh I am really not looking for SPL at all. I wouldn't mind but not my goal.....I want lows and a good setup for rap Which bandpass boxes are sick with A standard 4th order ported will yield at least as good of results if not better. The problem with that tho is the space....me putting the subs in the trunk gave me a lot of xtra room They take "similar" amounts of space. Sorry bro I don't see what your saying :/.....clarify?

No i agree on most. It is just that stuff like amp placement battery placement and all that depends on the subs I go with because what subs I go with makes my box change. I already measured out and we are going to try and see if we can make a 4th order bandpass for 8 12" Skars fit. I know 6 will but I have an idea for 8. And tbh i really dont care much about my SPL numbers......I will still run it but I care more about how loud it is than if i hit a 153 over a 151. I have 2 Skars on the way right now and getting the rest within the month. Build will start soon can't wait to show you guys

I know I have been wishy washy with EVERY idea I have came up with and I have asked you guys a million in a half different Q's but I have FINALLY come to a build decision after some recent news. I will be running/showing my car for a local company and helping them get their name out there. . I have done a few things since then and have even more things going on before March(start of all the florida shows). Below is a list of my build parts thanks to my local dealer.First of all, I AM walling my car off and each sub will have 5 cubes each after port and displacement. I didn't plan on walling it but after I got this offer I really couldn't say no! 4 15" Ascendant Audio Havocs 2 Sundown Audio 2000ds 1 ZED Build Boss Rev-665 for the highs 4 Deka Batts The big 3 2 sets of Moralhifi components I might edit things a little but this is it for the most part I am so siked I am getting the chance to represent a company and do what I love all at the same time! I will have vids and pics soon!

I can't decide whether to go with AQ Hdc3 12s, SSD 12s, or SA 12s I can give them about 2 cubes per sub ported with a sundown 2000d on each pair

I am looking for a 4v preamp in dash dvd player. I have found a few nice kenwoods but they arent in dash dvds. I wanted a pioneer but it only has a 2v. Are there any solid 4v players that won't break the bank or am I just wasting my time looking?

I have a malibu too but yea I was going to do the audiopipe thing until some of the guys convinced me to go with sundown I am happy I did !

This build will start in early January and end hopefully by feb My build will include 1-Pioneer 3200D In dash DVD 1-18" Fi BTL N2 7 Cube box tuned at 32hz 1-AP3001D 1-AP1504 2 Sets of Crescendo Audio 6.5" Components 4 Crescendo Audio Super Tweeters 1 Yellow top under the hood and 2 Blue tops for the back-Still undecided on what batts to go with? I will post pics as everything comes in and as the box takes shape and please post any constructive ideas for me! Ohh and here is my car that it's going in

How are you fitting (2) 21" subwoofers in a mailbu? My durango is 44" wide, that would only give me an extra 2". I can't believe a malibu is any bigger let alone the same width? It's because you have a dodge lol No but I am walling my car behind the seats..... I have 50 Inches across maybe more. That is how I am fitting them
