greattt......now to decide to wait on one of these? Or stick with 1-18" Fi BTL About how long would it take to get them sellable?

For about the same sound Q i will be going with 1-18" BTL N2 on 2,500 watts in a 8 ish cube box

Here is my dilema. The xcons are asking like 8 cubes each...well 6-10. I can realistically only give them 6 each if that. Should I get 2 18" Xcons with a smaller box for them and only 1500 watts each? Or should I got with 1 18" FI BTL? Full powered around 2500-3000 watts in a 8+ Cubic foot box? I will be running a Audiopipe 30001d which I just ordered. And it will give me 3,000 watts at 2 Ohms Bridged So what would you guys do? One stronger 18" in the perfect box with perfect power. Or 2 xcons with a lesser box a power?

I am so siked first of all! A couple people from REO got me to look into the SSA line and I am very impressed I will be getting 2 of the Xcon 18s and I will be powering them with one Audiopipe AP-3001D. That amp needs a ton of power to put up over 2,000 watts so I plan on getting 2 2400 Kinetiks for the back and maybe a red top under my hood. I drive a 2009 Malibu 4 cylinder soo I'm not quite sure if they even make bigger alternators lol. Hopefully 3 solid batteries will do the trick! Any constructive criticism is welcome Ohh yea and for the build I am walling off my trunk. I still need to have people sick in the back at times so I will probably be putting some type of back rests.

P chamfer is automatically included in cooling... You DO want cooling, it increases the thermal capacity of the sub and allows it to run cooler You DO want the HiXmCoil, it ads xmax and from personal experience it DOES make the sub much more intense Universal.... you only want it if you'd ever have to recone the sub to a different coil resistance (for wiring changes) I have had what you are doing. You will absolutely love the 3k + BTL sickkkk....thanks for all of your help No problem, you will now have the power to turn heads, shake anything around you, and control your heart beat..... use your new found power wisely... well you will but what's important is how big of a smile your going to have the first time you hit that crazy low bass note and stuff goes flying inside your vehicle. yea I had a 18" Solo X in my 03 yukon before I got this malibu but it was only on 1500 watts and it quaked. Hopefully this will be a step up

Few more small Qs I'm not familiar with P Chamfer? Cooling? HiXmCoil? Universal? Not familiar with these custom options

I will have over 8 cubes after everything is said in done if I only do 1. I wanna save as much as my back seat as possible lol. well if you want to save as much room as possible, then do a single 18". Smaller box = more storage room. no brainer... If you want more output and have the appropriate net volume then 2 18s would be the way to go. Thats my problem..... I can probably only go max of 12 cubes with 2. So would 2 xcons on 6 cubes at 1500 watts each be better than 1 btl in 8 cubes with 2500+ watts?

I have some ideas for space others haven't tried but I will show you guys as I update our build log we will wall it halfway through the back last case scenario but I think my idea will work

haha sick i love it......how are the 2 12s in there?. And it might not seem like a lot of room, but once you remove all that plastic housing where the very back speakers sit and where the seats rest on there is a ton of space lol

That's a quick video I took.......I see you have a Bu too! I love mine. Maybe you can shed some light on the room in the back? I will be taking out the back seats as well and building the box into the trunk and out of the cabin.

I will try my hardest ......and I will be removing the stock seats but probably addin g some type of bsck rests so I can still have people in the back if I need to

nooo, we have already done some measuring bro. It won't be easy by any means but saying it flat out won't isn't fair lol. I promise you wont fit them in there in the 12+ cube box they need with the 240+ sqin of port needed. Wont happen. we take that as a challenge

sealed or ported box? If I remember right you have a new chevy malibu. (2) 18's will be hard to fit in that trunk. Before you buy the xcons make sure you can design a box that will work for you trunk. yea that is basically the reason I'm going with them. They are around 300$. I actually am on a budget because I still need to buy a lot more to be ready for this build :/. I needed to cut cost somewhere. Thankfully I just found a really beast amp for the right price. I mean I would take a 2000 watt sundown if one came up around 350 but I doubt it would lol
