http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SV9o3FTpAf0 Scar symmetry is pretty amazing, sucks the lead singer left

Indeed. Amusing really. If I don't like a band a year or so down the road it's a pretty strong indication that they were shitty to begin with. I still have the first album I ever bought myself and still listen to it on occasion. Im the same, i can play a great album that ive been listening to for years and still enjoy every bit of it, if something isnt worth a damn it gets old after a few listens

Pandora works great for me, detail it with enough artists and songs and it plays only the music i like from only the artists i like, it does venture off to new things though which i also enjoy im listening to it right now, all i need to do build a box to put my ssd in my room then buy a home amp and ill be set

An update on what's going on with our subwoofers
trod2902 replied to Quentin Jarrell's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
Neo is great but it is expensive. Because China has put a choke hold on exports(they have one of the only supplies in the world) some prices have gone up 300 percent since last year. Plus neo is heat sensitive, it loses its magnetic force when extreme amounts of power is used Also our sub uses an 11 inch diameter, 44mm thick steel top plate bot to mention a massive steel 4 inch polepiece and 11 inch diameter backplate. So even if neo was used the amount of steel in the motor would defeat the purpose. The 2 inch thick 11 inch diameter ferrite magnet we are using produces plenty enough force, coupled with the fact it is xbl^2 enabled. Retained about 95% of its BL (about 34.5) all the way to 20-22mm it should be a nasty driver. Im guessing this thing doesn't need a whole lot of power to get down and dirty, o and i live about an hour and a half away if you need people to test em -
I meant the owner of the sub in the video
-
ever?
-
Have no worries man, Fi will not package your subs like that, there will be plenty of foam and wooden bracing (mine was 2x4's and plywood) this guy sent his sub back to Fi like that.

dcon comes to mind

They said 4" coils will show up somewhere else though , BTLs maybe?
-
Keep up the good work, cant wait to see it finished

I like doing port up in a truck, have u tried that?

i heard the same thing, something like ignition burns more gas than five mins of idle, but idk the truth.

ya, id like to get a app on my iphone so i can tell what hz im playing that sounds the best. but the first LOW on the song "put on" sounds AMAZINGGG a lot of people say its hard to get trucks to sound good with subs but i have yet to have a system that sounded bad. idk. my truck sounds awesome, and is a pretty loud vehicle i find (nissan titan)
-
Lmao, of course a cajun bar will have that
-
Ik the cabin gain in my cousins ranger is really low, i put my bl in a box tuned to 30 hz in it and it got all the down to 20hz no prob, but in my truck it couldnt play below 26hz
-
why not use the 1800 watt amp? to big physically?
-
Impressive sir
