Ya, for the BL15's since I got the 4" voice coil option which bumps their RMS power to 1500 each, I was thinking either 1ea 2500bd which i already own 2 of, or 1ea Sundown SAZ-3500. I'll see if I can come across on a good deal on a SAZ-3500...

Figured as much. I paid $1,100 for 2 2500's from a guy who bought them and had to sell them before he got to use them so i got the 2500's for a smokin deal, and I guess if I ran linked for around 6,000 watts.... Then should I run Twin 2500's or 1 SAZ-4500? Birth sheets mean nothing. I agree for the most part that they don't, but I tend to believe that they're more believable on the highest line made by well known companies companies, such as Fosgate Power Series, JL Audio, etc. Fosgates Power series seems to put out good power, from what I've installed and built using them. For example, Here's a simple sixth order I built for a kid using a Power 1500bd and 1 FI audio BL15. Videos are probably worth a little more then birth sheets i guess. But I want to get my hands on some Sundowns and run them! I love new Legit Power brands and solutions

OHHHH LMAO! Ya Sub Sonic Filter, Of course. Yes, sorry, I'm very familiar with SSF. didn't even think of it abbreviated. Honestly I don't know what Fosgates SSF is, I set them for stereos I do because most people don't know what to listen for when something goes too low or when the woofers are bottoming out but on my own stereo's I don't use the SSF. So everybody would run a SAZ-4500 over a Power 2500? I'm guessing " Hells Yes! " ?

Call me a retard, but I don't know what "ssf" is or what it means lol. Sorry. I use the power series for stereo's i do for other people and I know the power series makes good power but was just curious if the Sundowns were truly making the power they're claiming to make. I've heard alot about sundown and I know they're good amps, and I'm in no way at all trying to put them down, i'm just looking for experienced info on them vs the power 2500. Because it looks like I can get a Sundown SAZ-4500 for the price of the Power 2500.... Small Background info on what i'm working with.... ((I'll be running a HO 270amp alt ( I can only run 1 because they don't make a Dual Alt Kit for the 5.9L Cummins Diesel) and I'll be running 2 0 gauge lines to the back from 2ea separate Kinetik 2400 batteries straight to 3ea 3800 batteries then 2 0ga lines up to the fuse block to power my amps. )))

I ordered 2ea Loaded BL15's with the 4" voice Coils on 12/2/2010 and 12 days later there's no sign of them even shipping out yet... ????? Anything Holding up the 4" BL15's from being produced?

PUMPED! Just squeezed in TWO Kinetik KHC2400's into the Dodge! Battery Boxes were only 12 1/4" wide but after a few mods.... the 13" beasts are in and ready to run LOTS of 0 gauge! Hell ya!

I'm trying to finish up my system in my Dodge MegaCab and I'm down to picking the woofers... this is my last remaining ? of my system. I've used a lot of FI for my customers and my installs and there's no question they get nasty when setup correctly. But i'm currently stumped on this build for myself.... My box will be 7.5cuft and I'm trying to decide whether i'm going to be using 2 BL 15's or 2 BL18's... I'm not using the BTL's because I don't have the air space and I believe the BL's are a better Daily pounding woofer then the BTLs. I'm going to be running a single Rockford Fosgate 2500.1bd that has a birth certificate of 3,135 watts. Should be perfect for the 15s or 18s unclipped. upon creating my winisd graphs, on the SPL window, the BL18's are overall favored.... But on the TRANSFER FUNCTION MAGNITUDE window the graph heavily favors the BL15's....... Both are using the same AMP power, and Both are tuned to 32hz in a 7.5cuft box with 2ea 6" pipe ports.... I'm personally leaning towards the BL15's for this build but... Any feedback on which woofers i should go with? Thanks guys!

Noooooo lol, not taking the back seats out lol. No way. I got the megacab so that I could make a 8cuft box behind the seat and not have to do a cut thru. TWO BL15's on 3,000+ watts will hit harder then 98% of every other crewcab out there on the planet that doesn't have a cut thru and still has their back seat.... Only the Dodge Megacab has room behind the seat to even make a box bigger then 2.5cuft.... I can keep my backseat and still run 2 15's.... ya it's a no brainer....

Your payment for $768.34 USD has been completed. You are now being redirected to Fi Car Audio Loaded 4" BL15's on the way... Thanks Again

Thanks Guys! I had planned on going with the BL's I was just caught up on the TRANSFER tab and was likin' that high note, which it would probably play like considering the box was a little too small for two BL18's. I don't want to lose the low end so i'm going to just go with the BL15's with the 4" coils. Sounds good to me. Plus I see that there's no charge for Cooling right now! So really I'd only be paying $40 bucks to upgrade to 4" coils! Done. Thanks Guys

Any clear advantage to the 4" coil over the standard 3" coil on the BL15's?

Ya thats what I was leaning towards... the 15's. 7.5cuft will be clean after displacement of everything. Anybody know the port area inches on a 5" pipe and a 6" pipe? And whats the formula on figuring that out? Here's the setup i had in mind...
