whats considered a basic system? under 2000W? XS rates the batteries for what power you plan to run for if its a primary battery (underhood) or if its a secondary battery (in rear). It says 2000-3000 watts. I would say that battery alone in the front should be fine for "up to" 2000 watts of stereo on stock electrical with the big 3 done. Any more and add another battery to the rear and look into a aftermarket alt. Add a volt meter to monitor it to be safe. I would say most "basic" systems out there are under 2000 watts But you won't hear a difference between 14.4 and 12.8 volts.

great idea in theory, and i agree but most people are not as open to take such a leap.i have even thought about telling him to buy a pair, and if he does not like them then ill buy them.... but i have no use for them, and i do thing like that too often.. maybe that why i have so much car audio shit laying around the house with no use for it. I think you could find a buyer pretty easy.

I have hit 138 db using a 12 d2 gcon powered by a aq750. Running @ 1 ohm.

wow thats really low. he needs to be closer to 2 for sure, hes doing 9 of them so after all said and done he needs to be close to a half ohm at the end..... and that just wont cut it. 1.3 1.4 Won't that resistance go up with the temp. It was measured at 35 degrees .
