Where do you eat out? That's the price of 2 beers and a tip, not meals. That's why I limit my going out to the bar. Too expensive,! Rather spend it on subs, amps or speakers! well then you dont want to go out on a night with me! So your not a cheap date. lol -
Some reading material. http://www.crescendoaudio.com/index.php/products/pro-audio/item/pwx-6.html?category_id=4

Pretty much guarantee that they've never been setup right in a car yet. I sure haven't seen it. Not even close. People trying to use these in a 2 way are laughable. I didnt ask for you to build a system for me. I just wanted to know if these are good drivers. I can make my own mistakes!

Make it sound better. I will be using cresendo tweeters with cresendo crossovers Then you are looking at the wrong gear. That setup will sound like utter shit. Thank you for your input.

Make it sound better. I will be using cresendo tweeters with cresendo crossovers If you are talking about the PWX-6 and the bullet tweeter then no, that is a terrible setup. Though for having 1700 posts your ability to make a meaningful thread is rather abysmal. "Make it sound better" isn't a satisfactory response to my question of goals if you are truly looking for assistance. Thank you for your input.

whats considered a basic system? under 2000W? XS rates the batteries for what power you plan to run for if its a primary battery (underhood) or if its a secondary battery (in rear). It says 2000-3000 watts. I would say that battery alone in the front should be fine for "up to" 2000 watts of stereo on stock electrical with the big 3 done. Any more and add another battery to the rear and look into a aftermarket alt. Add a volt meter to monitor it to be safe. I would say most "basic" systems out there are under 2000 watts But you won't hear a difference between 14.4 and 12.8 volts. I never said you would, not in his case anyway. I wasn't referering to you. But I think most systems are around 1000 wrms.

I would say most "basic" systems out there are under 2000 watts one more thing: senario A: 2000W sub amp Senario B: 1500W sub amp + 500W 4 way (=2000W) would there be any difference in how much power is needed to run either senario? I think you answered your own question 2000 watts either way.
