I think I know his question... lol. If power is the same If box is the same Will there be an audible gain, changing from A) Subwoofer with 1000 rms rating to B) Subwoofer with 3000 rms rating Modeling the subs would tell you. -

What good is it to have clean amp sound if you don't have good sound proofing. I say sound deadening is more important. Who wants to hear everything vibrate. To me thats what makes clean sound. -

Do the amp manufacturers put a rating on their amps of some type? Their marketing departments put all sorts of subjective ratings on them I don't think the industry has any standards that they follow 100% of the time.

They should be loud enough if they are good ones. You might want to upgrade those cerwin vega 6.5's. Have you bought this stuff already?

It's your money I think one 15 would be enough. If money is the main factor then the 15 with a bc3500d is the way to go. I don't think you will gain that much by going to two 12's.

He may not have that much room for a box compared to one 15.

If you have questions you can ask hdrox88. You can get away with a smaller box by giving it more power.

You doing one sub? I would go with the 3500 and make sure you set the gain and others amp settings properly.
