Then make sure you do the big 3 and I would go with a higher output amp to give you some head room.
-
Also are you wanting sq or spl?
-
Are you set on using sa-12's ?
-
I have used the ssd's and I would use them again if I was building a spl setup. They are great drivers for the money.

Why do videos impress people ? They are mostly smoke and mirrors.

Better for what? The only way to tell what sub is the best in your particular application is to test them all, too many factors to decide. But im pretty sure most will say SSA subs are better, just how it is around here. SSA Icon > American Bass XFL > Sundown SA > Skar VVX I will take American built and wait for them. Thats how much better SSA subs are!

Looks don't always equate to loudness. Some manufacturers use big motors as marketing ploy. Looks bigger and "beefier," so it must get louder. Not SSA!

Have you tried it ? Soon as my new re-cone arrives I will be testing the theory. Cool it will be interesting to see the difference.

Amp for a single GCON 10?
pmureika replied to Kaschan's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Yes do the big three for any of the amps. -
You have a budget for the amp?
-
Sounds like adjusting the amps will help some.
-
Do you need to run sealed? Mike has the best suggestion go ported if you have the room.

any tips for finding a good ground without a dmm?
pmureika replied to krb1991's topic in General Audio
How did you determine its a ground problem. Also you can buy a test light and go from the positive of the amp to the spot you sanded and see if it lights up. A dmm would be the better choice. -
