I think one d3400 would be plenty If you have a good bat. under the hood. -
You can go wrong with a SSA xcon!

Get a bigger fuse back buy the battery because it something shorts out that wiring could catch on fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
i run a icon on about 400 watts in my g/fs car. very nice I agree you don't have to give them rated power to get great sound. That goes for all subs in general.

I used a aq2200d to power two fully loaded Fi SSD 15" subs. I could run it full volume for hours at a time and it never got more then warm to the touch. Also I was able to hit a 148.8 on a term lab meter. Give them good electrical and they will run for years to come. -

Try going from the positive at the amp right to the rem and see if that turns it on. And stays on then you might have low voltage. Buy a dmm to test your voltages. -
1 knu ofc run and a 3500d

The frame can carry alot more current then two runs of 0 gauge. -
You can disconnect the speeaker wire from he amp and use a double a battery. touch the leads to the each side of the battery at the same time the sub should move up or down.If it doesnt you need to remove the sub and check your wiring.
-
Use a dmm and check the coil to see if you have around 4 ohms. A zero reading would mean a broken wire or burned up coil. If it reads around four you have a amp issue. Alton beat me.
-
Do you know how to use a dmm?

I have a mechman 300 amp on my 3.7 in a 2009 jeep liberty. The voltage drops at idle to the thirteens.
-
I would say it needs a smaller pulley.
-
Has it always been that low at idle with the H.O. alternator?
-
Does it go up near 14.4 when you rev it up.
