Why use two amps one would be better. Do you mean 3000rms amp? You should have gotten the D1 subs. -

I have used a hiltron amp before but not many features on it. Sonic electronix on the internet. Smallest is 4x50rms a channel. -

My type R's are only 100rms each. The S takes less. So your using exactly 100watts to each? Even when you turn the volume down? No the gain is set to 80 watts per channel. 320rms total @ 80% volume and goes down from there. yes, I need all the juice baby Lets get back to original thred and answer his question. -

It would be best to run two 4 channel and one two channel to get to four ohms per speaker. -

That is why there is a gain knob. Set it right and you will have no problems. Set it wrong bye bye sub.
