Well the sub and the amp never got hot. The voltage stayed above 14 volts.

Looks very much like evereast labs amp. I know they are both built in korea.

I played 30 min of constant full volume music to a 15 Icon from a aq1200. I never heard any distortion, so I asumed it wasnt clipping. Gain was set using dmm method.

If your running under 1000wrms you should be fine by just adding a second battery. It wouldnt hurt to upgrade your starting battery to a agm type battery. -

8 gauge. Kk sounds good. Thanks. The fuses are 60 at the battery and leave the ones the same size in the amp.The 50 at the battery will work. -

do i route amp remote lead on the amp power side

Some companies actually run a remote wire attached to the RCA's. The RCA cables are shielded so it makes no difference. Good call -
