Sub sonic has nothing to do with volume. the gain does that and all songs arent recorded the same. sorry for my poor english let me try and explain it in the best way i can think. i understand what a gain on a amp does and i understand what the ssf does as well. what i'm trying to explain is on some song's i listen to i have to listen to them at a low volume since they beat real hard when i say beat real hard i mean to where my subs's will move like crazy and you can start smelling the coils burn a little or you will hear the sub pop and was not sure if it might have to do with the way my ssf is set to or if this is normal. Like I said its the way the music was recorded.Turn the sub volume down on those songs. -
Did it work?
-
Yep plug that into the amp instead of your hu rca's.
-
It will alow you to bypass the hu and hook direct to amp. best buy, walmart, target
-
As long as the amp turns on dont worry about them.
-
you can buy one at walmart. the plugin to 2 rca's to plug direct into the amp instead of your rca cables.
-
Hook a ipod direct to your amp with the proper adapter.

If you want load do it, but the subs wont last long.
-
Do you have a ipod?
-
Then the problem is between the hu and the amp.
-
Wire one sub parallel 2ohm turn the gain down to start and see if its louder.
-
Just follow that wiring diagram to the T.But you could have other wiring wrong. Try just one sub but set the gain low.
-
I quess without being there I cant help.
-
The other thing to look for is there a volume setting for the subs on the head unit.
-
Each sub has to be wired exactly the same way.
-
He has two 4ohm dvc subs.He needs a 1ohm load.for his aq750
-
Set your meter to ohms and read the ohms with the wires unhooked. What does it read?
