This helps me rule out the xcon and go with icon if i go for ssa. Thanks for the advice. Its going to be tough to decide between the Q and the Icon 12. The only thing I got going for me is the want to try out ssa subs since ive already ventured into Fi subs... but then at the same time Fi did not dissapoint me whatsoever. Whats the difference in perfect box size with no port noise tuned to 32hz between the two? Just noticed the votes doubled since last night good job guys keep it up . You wont be sorry.SSA is everthing plus some!

I like the Icon because I had one and upgraded to a xcon. Save the money the Icon sounds great on 1200wrms.

Why do you need to go bigger than 12gauge?

They play the same role with the engine running or not. Bigger batteries will give you more reserve. Time to upgrade batteries and alt. if you are going to add more amp load.

That's why I run 1/0 gauge to me tweeters. You do.

Anything over 12 gauge wire is a waste of money!
