    Steve Meade's Clipping Tool

I was joking around with Steve in one of his threads by being the "grammar police." It was intended to be friendly. David made a sarcastic remark and threatened to ban be in that thread. Here's the odd part- NOTHING WAS EVEN DIRECTED TOWARDS DAVID!! If Meade had a problem with the little joke, I'm sure he would've let me know. Fortunately for me, Steve stepped in and defended me.Thank you Meade I have a feeling that David isn't leaving anytime soon though because I believe he helped start the forum

    Steve Meade's Clipping Tool

It doesnt detect clipping or distortion. Say you have an amp rated at 1200wrms @14.4volts, but its either underrated or you have voltage drop. If you still setup the amp to output 1200wrms at but instantly drop to 13 volts on the burp, youd get clipping.
  3. Hmm..good find Its nice because it shows many different variations of wiring multiple batteries. This'll definitely help the n00bs Edit: maybe you can sticky this?

    Steve Meade's Clipping Tool

You learned a FEW things? The only thing I learned was how to straight up bash a product without it being on the market yet and knowing nothing about it... Give it a few months for accredited reviewers to get their hands on it. This could be an easy tool for many car audio enthusiasts to use if it works as intended. I definitely plan on buying this thing if it does what its supposed to..no doubt

    Shopping at American Eagle...

So, early this afternoon I got a txt from friends asking if I wanted to chill. I give 'em a call and go to one of their houses. After about an hour we decide to go to the mall to hang out because there's more to do there. One of the stores we go into is American Eagle, which is probably my favorite store. I walk into AE and look at the shelves & racks. I can't find anything that looks nice and I dont already own. I laugh to myself and look at the Clearance Rack...turns out I already own all of the nice stuff there too, so I just left I have a question- is there anything wrong with me? Haha
  8. What are your goals? If his will be in a daily driver, what kind of music do u listen to? Also, what amp do you have and what coils will you get?

I actually like old school Adidas..I can't picture myself wearing them though  Damn!! I guess Epicenter Designs makes everything custom haha
  10. You're on the really low side. People running 2 AQ3500Ds well have been in the car audio game for a while and know what they're doing. When you're overpowering, you always need to be on the lookout for odd sounds and smells for when you run full tilt.
  11. You should look online for the speaker sizes. Also, you should do some research about how to bypass the Bose system.
  12. You're welcome. I came on this forum to help people If you have the stock Premium Bose system, you have an amp in the car that you probably need to bypass. In order to recommend speakers, we need more info (speaker size, budget, and amp)
  13. Just because the AQ is RATED for a 200amp fuse doesn't mean it pulls 200amps with a clean signal. I'm done arguing with you. Let's get this back on topic for the OP plz
  14. It won't necessarily be louder. It may put out more power on a weaker electrical system though. I really can't say. For a 3500D, you'd get 1 ohm coils. For 2 2200Ds, you'd get D2 coils.

I liked their older jeans too. Now, I only wear 2 AE pairs. I love Aeropostale shorts. I like the rigid ones because they actually have structure. I'm not familiar with AE shorts. I hate loose, stretched out collars too I have to check out Stafford...thanks for the "recommendation"
  16. The single amp should be more efficient.
  17. It mostly depends on the user, clipping, impedance rise, and voltage drop. If you don't know exactly what I mean, get the BTLs Yes, its possible to connect 3 15s
  18. What about the 2200D for the SAs What part of "do as little electrical upgrades as possible" do you not understand? "But if it would be absolutely worth it i would do it for the 1700." The AQ probably draws about the same current as the Hifonics because the BRZ is so damn inefficient. The only extra upgrade I would consider would be a small battery in the back (the big 3 was implied) If you're going to criticize me, atleast make sure you make a legitimate point please.
  19. Yessir. If you want to save even more money, check out the fully loaded Fi BLs. Idk how much experience you have, so that may not be the best option.
  20. It depends on the power you have. I would run up to 5.5kwrms daily on a lvl 5, but only 3.5kwrms daily on a loaded BTL. The BTL can probably be more musical than a lvl 5 though. With 5k, I would upgrade to an AA/SMD. Ascendant Audio and Fi are like brother companies.
  21. I think the AQ may be capable of a few hundred more watts, but nothing audibly noticeable. Heres a list: http://www.*****.com/board/topic/100755-dc-authorized-dealers-list-and-contact-info/ Some people are at SBN, so there may be a delay in response
  22. It does 3500+ wrms. I can't give you the quote I got, srry. It's around the price of the AQ. The exact price varies by dealer. You would want D1 ohm voice coils
  23. Will the subs be stock? Maybe a DC Audio 3.5k or Audioque AQ3500D.1? A few dealers on SMD can and will beat AQ's price

LOL I used to wear QuickSilver and Fox, but I just dont like their sweatshirts and short sleeves. They dont have the same "feel" as AE if you know what I mean I like many skate shoes either. Others are just "bleh" to me. Vans shoes are okay to me. I only like three styles though Im picky with my Nikes too. The types are I own are called "Air Mogen" and some "6.0" one. Others are too "short." I cant explain it Geez, thanks haha. I like how people socialize on there too; not just talk about CA
