    Special DD subs

But you basically described really any decent sub company person with higher powered subs. Fi for one. I would consider the Zs if I was into hardcore SPL but that's about it. Nothing about the rest of their lineup makes me want to pay the price without going to another company. I started this as a find out type of thread. With the 3515's price tag, I can get an N2 BTL. It spawned from another thread that no one could tell me why they would recommend the dd3515 over the AQ HDC3 or FI BL. I started a thread just like this on 5 other sites. But i was calling out the SSA ZCON. with an estimated 500$ price tag. Why would someone buy a ZCON for 500 when they can get a better n2? this is a business and people dont understand that. no body cares about you, or your setup. they care about your wallet. SSA, DD, and AA for example. all high end retailers, that are in for the kill on some cash money. DD does the best to be honest. my friend brian who is a AA dealer, makes decent margin, but DD is the best money maker. also whoever said a 3500 over an HDC is horiibly mistaken, my old HDC motor is almost as big as my 9500 heres an insider tip the SSA ZCON basically uses the old crossfire motor that Fi oemd. i could buy that sub for 300$ back in the day, now they have brought back the same motor, made it a little better and JACKED UP THE PRICE. why... TO MAKE MONEY!!!! theese subs look famaliar to your HDC, 3500, and ZCON? this is the AB VFL, which basically uses the 3500 motor for half the price http://www.kochaudio.de/shop/index.php?cPath=196_930_937&osCsid=9f18c59201d4eecd74aef550408c140b AB XFL look like the HDC? carbon cone, dd basket, direct connects, JUST A DIFFERENT DUSTCAP!!! http://www.americanbassusa.com/front/showcontent.aspx?fileid=213 Crossfire AHHHH, my favorite company. i am trying out for the team this year. here is the original ZCON, what you guys are about to pay 500$ for http://www.crossfirecaraudio.com/htdoc/cf_m01_product_05_xs.asp business is business go fuck yourselves

    Special DD subs

what about the fact that they use all american parts like your beloved Fi, what about the fact that they have the second largest magntizer in the U.S., what about the fact that they have incorporated cooling and coil inventions that every other company disects only to steal ideas from. to answer, no the 3500 is not worth the price. your dealer is shitting on you. my dealer sells those for 295. the 9500 or z is what you want. American parts...cool. Big ass magnetizer...I don't give a damn about. Super neat cooling designs...cool. So all this means their stuff should be more expensive right? Or that the dealer gets to charge whatever right? no not really, DD is a business, and most companies will make a nice 60% margin on your dumb asses, i would much rather buy other subs if i didnt buy my dds at cost. and the next thing.. the motor force like said before is almost unmatched, DDs have thrown some of the highest gauss numbers PERIOD. i agree for the price dealers sell them for i would NEVER BUY THEM. but in the end DD has the most subwoofer world records period

Which sub sa8 or dcon 10

Dcon for sure. Even if you were comparing a sa10 I'd still take it. Dcons are good. I may reccommend a aq sdc 10, a dc lvl3 and a fi SSD also in that price range.

    Sound Deadener on a Roll?

So right now you are "selling" vaporware? So you didn't get an idea for a product, you got an idea for a price point then had someone else design a product (that you didn't understand) to fit that price point. At present, said product doesn't actually exist. Your marketing plan so far consists of promoting a product that doesn't actually exist and that you don't actually understand, making apparently outrageous claims about it's performance then deleting those comments, and finding reasons to trash competing products such as the picture of RaaMat you posted earlier? That's pretty tactless and demonstrates terrible business ethic. It also helps if you type in English. Your grammar and spelling is atrocious for an individual promoting a product and business. Sounds like a solid plan you have going there. "It does exist"... I have 75sqft of it in my car dumbass. I'm glad you have a bunch of groupies bro. Trashing a competitor because you simply can not compete with audiotechnix pricing. In fact no body can. A product of such high quality and such a low price that can not be reckoned with. Intimidated are you? I'm sorry that you must bring it to this. I'm leaving this argument not to return. Im sure col will do the same. It has now become pointless and is just past arguing but extraverting our egos. If you want to bring it even further past that... Than we can go there trust me, my biceps at bigger than your waist. Thank you all for your time. You can find audiotechnix sound deadner on the website. Entry level pricing will be available for a little while longer. To clear it up I am not a business partner of col by any means. I am a friend and proud of it. Sorry to sac tap your pathetic unmanned comments with my shear masculinity and ability to whoop all of your guys asses. But argue with me. Not cthedinger.

    Sound Deadener on a Roll?

Its just as easy to get it cut into a roll by the same people that make it, and I assume you product if made in the U.S. comes from the same kind of place if it doesn't then it may come from over seas because it would be a lot cheaper to get it cut into sheets if it did. Its actually foil no B.S. here. I will admit that back then I did not know as much information as I know now and I am still know expert now. And I had never gotten the chance to finish all the video's I was going to make. I had planned on testing how well it sticks by hanging a weight from it and see how long it takes for everyones deadener to fall. Then testing how hot it can get before falling and also test it on some sheet metal. And I don't know were you got the idea of that, that was in my parents driveway. lol In the video it kind of shows my surroundings and there are several buildings that look the same, A.K.A. filmed at my apartment. It truly is one of the best products for the price. First of Audio Technix is not made by Protect-O-Wrap and has no affiliation with them. It is made in a completely different state. Also Don the new configuration was not announce with in days. Don't make your self try to feel to almighty. Also the reason I asked all these companies for samples is because I truly wanted to know what all of them are like. Then I got an idea for a product that I liked and thats where it all started. I do not believe everything should be covered in deadener. I have told several of my customers to apply a little where they feel its needed then test and at that point they can determine whether or not they need to put more on. There are also several products that are made on rolls and personally I like it being made on a roll. IMO it is a lot easy to install that way. I am not going to argue with you on here or go back and forth all day. If you want to go back and forth and argue give me a call on Monday 832.257.8825 Since this topic was brought up I figure that gives me the right to post of some video's for Audio Technix Also here is a picture of RAAM Mat that you called the best bang for its buck back in the day Don. Just picture to show you how good Raam Mats adhesive is attached to there aluminum. There is lots of air pockets between the adhesive and the aluminum. I wouldn't trust this stuff in my car. I just tried to do the same to Second Skin, Audio Wrap, and the Audio Technix proto type deadener I have (which does not use as good of an adhesive as the real product will have) and couldn't manage to do it. Thanks for chiming in bro! And also clearing up it's not built by audiowrap. My friends and I love the product ad the price especially since it's less than half the price of audiowrap. The loudest guy in Colorado out hemre is going to order a few roles for his new car. I wish him the best of luck.

    Stetsom 25k2e - more than 25000 rms

Well, at the moment there is a promotion on a 10k RMS amp for 1200 dollars. So for $2400 you can have 20k at 14volts. But I could see where one amp of this magnitude would cost more than double of one 10k. I never said it should be cheap. If it was cheap enough noobs would be able to buy them and burn a lot of stuff to the ground. Need to have it out of reach for most. Very true. And if you are talking about the warhorse my friend just ordered one. So I'll have to let you know how it is man. And I'm glad you targeted noobs. These amps are very highclass. And also complicated. But every REAL test he has done at 18v has proven the show these amps are EXTREMELY under rated at such high voltage. Ofcourse my 18v alt barely sits at 18.8v. But if I remeber right his 14K does 14K at 16.6v. I love it. I'd hate to see noobs burn shit to the ground.

    Sound Deadener on a Roll?

So does dynamat, audio wrap, raptor trap, and XxX ??? I take offense to this considering I am partners with the owner and he works extremely hard to portray a professional and honest image. MY QUESTION to you is what sound deadner do you see that's not on a roll? Second skin? ]

    Port type/direction

Hey Ted. Typically when you do subs up port back, you get a lot of concaellation. However in your application it may work VERY WELL. Many men will use slot ports and always do sub forward and port forward. I may reccommend putting the port on the left hand side. And both of the subs to the right of it. this is typically ideal for numbers. Also many guys may persuade you to use an aero port a guy on here named "gumbysmoke" just remember aeros are good. But nobody in world finals ever uses them. So obviously slots can perform very well.

    Install Bay Wiring

3 years ago and now is completely different. Just like saying I bought a tv 3 years ago. Look how it's changed moron. I have the wire in hand and am using it currently. I think it does the trick. It's OFC and extremely highstranded heavy copper. My dad who is an electrician of 40years put the same stuff in his truck. I paid for the more expensive roll of wire 35ft for 49.99. Not the redicilously low priced spools. Is now the time that I should tell you to suck me? Edit I noticed you mentioned about the time change. OP just buy some pucking wire.

lol they arent for everybody LOL, thanks bro

Whats better than a Fi BTL?

It's funny you say that. Lol I'm getting an EXPENSIVE ass oil change right now LOL!!! I don't even wanna get started about my brakes. Lol you know the BTL single mag "UFO" has more motor force than the n2 right? The n2 had motor force backed off to drop the saddle shaped response curve lol. The gauss in the gap on this Orion is far much larger than any of my old btls lol. It's a tripple stack motor with a 4" coil STRAIGHT BEAST. Amount of ferrite, and coil size does not dictate motor strength. Your being ignorant Chris, try and be a little open minded, eh? AGREED! thanks my man Duran, my brother loves his N2 18". i just figured id change up my game a little lol

    Install Bay Wiring

Your gonna get a lot of shit for looking at cheaper wire. I bought installbay 10ga and 0ga. The 10ga was beast all copper OFC and high stranded. The blue 0ga was actually 1ga and had quite a bit of aluminum. Type in "bullz audio" their 0ga is the same price. But beastley ass wire ad I mean BEASTLEY
