  1. Probably not but it depends on a lot of factors so install it and monitor your voltage, if you have voltage drops either look into a secondary battery or ho alternator. Every electrical is different so know one can tell until you hook it up and see if it can handle the load from your system. cool, thanks. will do.
  2. Sorry to hijack but I'm going to be running 2 fi ssd12 subs and a sundown 1500dv.2 would I need a new alternator for my 2010 charger which has a stock 140 amp alt i believe?

    Audioque AQ 1200D Amp

I was leaning towards getting the Sundown Audio 1200 for when I purchase two Fi Audio SSD12 subs. But came across the Audioque AQ1200D. Is the Audioque AQ1200D a suitable amp to run for the SSD12 subs? AQ1200D: 510X1 @ 4 ohm, 870X1 @ 2 ohm, 1200X1 @1 ohm SAX 1200D: RMS power, 1 ohm mono 1200W x 1CH RMS power, 2 ohm mono 720W x 1CH RMS power, 4 ohm mono 360W x 1CH

    Audioque AQ 1200D Amp

Sidenote I was going to get the dual 1 ohm SSD12 subs. The audioque would underpower them or both amps? My bad if it is in the wrong category.

andrew, so what are we looking at for a price on the ported box that you worked out? You still have the 15% off going on right now right? Thanks for the help.

    Suitable SSD12 Enclosure

Just got a question, trying to find a suitable enclosure that would fit in the trunk of my charger and would be good for 2 SSD12 subs. Would this one work?? http://www.zenclosures.com/Dodge_Charger_Subwoofer_Box_p/chargerrecessface.htm Mounting depth - 9.00" Mounting hole - 9 1/8" for 10" subs & 11 1/8" for 12" subs (Adjustable by request) Total volume of airspace - 2.46ft^3 Adjustable by request (we can only reduce the airspace) Airspace per chamber - 1.23ft^3 -Spencer

    Suitable SSD12 Enclosure

what do you mean invert? Sorry I'm not very knowledgable when it comes to this stuff. You think a ported enclosure would be better?

    2 Fi Audio SSD12

I think i could go with 22 on the depth. What are we looking at for prices on the enclosure? Do you recommend ported or sealed for those subs?

    2 Fi Audio SSD12

the height and width are pretty much set. unless i do some major mods on the trunk. How much does the depth have to increase to make it work? And can you quote me the price for that enclosure? thanks andrew.

    2 Fi Audio SSD12

it's set at 32" i think. the depth could change a bit tho. would that help? p.s. thanks.

Dual 1 or Dual 2 Fi SSD

Which is better to get: dual 1 or dual 2 Fi SSD12 subs? I'm thinking of getting two subs and going with a sundown SAX 1200 amp. Does it matter? Pros and cons of each?

    OMG Black Friday Sale!

I may have to take advantage of this. I need an enclosure for 2 Fi Audio SSD12 (Dual 1). This is going in a 2010 Dodge Charger. 32"w x 15"h x 20"d. What do you recommend and how much would that run me?

    Audio Help

New guy here. Looking for help on a potential audio setup for my 2010 Dodge Charger. I'm looking to get 2 12" subs, amp, and enclosure first. ( <<<looking to spend about $800. is that feasible?) Then looking to get an aftermarket head unit down the line. I honestly have no idea about car audio so I need some suggestions. I want something that sounds good but hits hard. I mostly listen to hip/hop n rap so I like bass but not to the point that's all I hear. Any suggestions or opinions would be great. I know you guys probably get these questions all the time (sorry) but I figured I'd ask people who know something about car audio. Thanks, Blunt
