looking to put some subs in my 86 camaro just wonder if id have enough airspace in my rear truck space where ttops are usual stored a box i found is WIDTH= 41-1/2"BOTTOM DEPTH= 11-3/4" TOP DEPTH= 17-1/2" HEIGHT=15-1/4" thats just to give you an idea of the space i have but ill be getting a custom box made for the subs

i have a 1995 s10 blazer and i plan on ordering a 18 and maybe doing a second one anybody out there have or know if i can get 2 18s in a blazer non wall and not removing back seats.also i would like to see pics of your setups blazer only i wanna get an idea of how im gonna do my setup

ok thanks i had looked yesterday and the only 1 i found he never showed it and i dont care for losing the back cargo my plans is to get my truck in next to car show condition so i can enter a few and also do a few db drags and still have a daily driver but thanks i feel like all my questons have been answers my final question is tuning.this is going to be a daily driver what would be best for this sub(listen to rap)

im selling my memphis mojo 15(1750 rms) for 250. im looking to take that money and buy me a FI sub.im looking and have been for a while now at the ssd 18 ,but i know where a fi q (red logo) 15 in a ported box that im sure the guy wants no more then 300 for http://saginaw.craigslist.org/ele/2132649618.html my question which i know im not gonna ask right but what would be the difference between the two subs i know 18= more cone area and the 15= more power i listen to mainly rap and rnb and im looking to feel the bass more then hear it so im go say im looking for sq but still want some spl

you should be able to get an 18 in your vehicle, it will be a big box, do you plan to build your own box? going to have a shop make it? what i would do is play with the re calculator. I wouldnt use it on your final box but use it to get some dimensions of what your going to need. possibly see how much of your cargo will be needed before deciding on a 15" vs 18". i dont doubt you can fit an 18 back there, but just think you should get an idea of the box size before you commit to it. my orginal plans were to get 1 18 and another in the future do you think thats possible? and im going to a shop i dont have the tools nor experience.

how would i measure to see if i have enough room also this might be a dumb noob question but can you explain to me how tuning works.i see ppl go high tuning with comps to hit high dbs and ppl go low tuning to hit lows does that mean theyll lose dbs and not be loud?

yeah well that and amps all i do know is put my tool box back there and my amps are mounted onto the back of the seats

he told 50 for the 0 gag 150 for the yellow top but this was about a week ago idk if he remembers me or not but when i asked him how much for the fi q he said "500 for complete" but im over that...ill be ordering either the 15 ssd or 18 ssd i dont wanna get the 15 and wish i should have gotten the 18

he said he never measured the internal volume

the guy told me the specs on the box was 4cf @32htz

my question still havnt been answered what type of sub are the ssd and q

@smashedz28 well you know how ppl is these days they want atleast 60% - 75% of what they paid but thats just a rough guess what do you think that q is worth?

i seem to come and go thru some much car audio im never happy right now i have 95 blazer 4 dr 2010 15inch mojo d2(1750 rms) hifonic brutus bxi2010d db link 4 gag dual 7 inch flipout infinity pf 2 channel amp 4-way 6.5 pioneer(front) 3-way 6.5pioneer (rear) stock batt stock alt big 3 in 2 gaug looking to sell mojo to get new subs how does 1 or 2 18 ssd's compare to the mojo sq and spl wise local dealers couldnt give me a clear answer i want the ssd's because of the price and the fact it will match up with my amp(2000 @ 1 ohm about 1700-1850 at 13v) need anymore info let me know
