Ive always had doubts about Incriminator Audio. Idk why though... But hearing this review makes me wanna hear one for myself. Great buy man! -
^^ and not saying you will pull high numbers even with a smaller box but just as an idea.
-
Box would kinda be on the smaller side but i think it would do fine. im running 2 15" Q's myself in a smaller box than recomended...did 148.1db. But 2 12's dosn't sound bad...

If he makes the box subs up port back...he can make the port along the bottom of the box so he really has alot of port area to work with.

Haha the mustache! Beautiful amp you have there. Ive seen one perform and i was impressed. Good luck with the build.

I heard this car from a distance at the heatwave. It hits some crushing lows! Great build man.

Smallest 4-chan amp for seaker replacement.

Rockford fosgate just came out with some extremely small amps. Im not sure if they came out with a 4 channel but they have a 300.1 i think that is around 3in X 4in and only needs like 9 amps to give power. -

Soundstream Dtr Amp by SS or PA?
orlando144 posted a topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Does anyone know if the first line of Soundstream D-tower amps where made by Soundstream or Power Akoustik? It seems like a solid amp and can run at .25 ohm no sweat. Does anyone happen to know? -
Soundstream Dtr Amp by SS or PA?
orlando144 replied to orlando144's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Considering they are rated for being .5 stable it's not really that surprising. The rubicons will drop down to 1/4 ohm as well Yea thats kinda what i was thinking. Are rubicon series amps any good? I was looking to buy a 1.1600 for a jl 13.5 w7 -

Soundstream Dtr Amp by SS or PA?
orlando144 replied to orlando144's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Alot of people doubt some SS stuff but i was also suprised. It dosnt go into protect unless my voltage goes to the 11's. A guy's Sundown 3k went into protect imediatly at .25 and had better electrical. -

Theres vids on youtube where a guy is running 2 of these on 2 xxx 15's at .25 each daily. And mine runs good but i need better electrical ... -
I run Fi Q's and voted for ssd's but the Sundowns wouldnt be a bad choice.

Ported would be wayyy louder maybe! But with the correct airspace. But do xcons work well in sealed enclosures??
-
That wasnt the box he built. Thats what he wants to build it like.

orion hcca 12 backet getting hot????
orlando144 replied to SMpaintball78's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Hcca's tend to throw the heat to the basket. I would have this same thing happen to me and get worried but nothing really happened. Just like an mtx 9500 throws the cones heat off to the surround. Theirs some weird subs out there XD I'm still tempted to say it's ambient heat, but I have not done a thermal analysis of either of those woofers. ya idk if this has to do with the same subject, but iv seen video's of the heat sink i believe its called coming out of the sub and through the center cap on the cone. this worries me because the center cap is directally behind my elbow when i drive and if that thing comes flying out, it might hurt lol. I think duran has a point on the heat subject. I would think the only reason the heatsink thing came flying out would be because the glue melted and let the peice go crazy... Too much heat.. -
Glad to know your taken care of man.
