Audiopipe APSM series
Mtopper replied to Mtopper's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
thanks for all the input guys, the biggest thing i cannot pass up is the fact that it puts out so much power with such a small footprint. i drive a cruze, there is trunk space but no where near as much as other sedans. i can comfortably fit 3.5 cubes with amp room to allow breathing room and what not. i'll be running 2 amps and a processor. not a ton of space but enough. -

what does everything think of these? i had the 1500 watt version early in the year running 4 ohm on an old school eclipse 12, never ran hot, had no issues with it and i loved the small size of it but people either love it or hate it. i only ask because audiopipe came out with a new 2000 watt model and it looks promising as does most AP products due to cost/watt ratio. looking to actually compete this next year in street stock and street trunk. I'm working with a budget of about $400 for an amp. Ramrod and i have been talking but i also want to get some input from others in the competition world. will end up running either 2 12 gcons or icons. just waiting on the w3s i have to sell before justifying spending the money.

makes complete sense then. if able to steal these from someone, they are worth it but don't do it for me, blame Ramrod on here for ruining them for me haha. had mine and loved it until i heard the one zcon in his jimmy.. keep it all going though man. looks great

are you going to run seperate boxes for the subs? i had a 12w7 off of a jl 1000/1 in my blazer and it sounded great but i wasn't happy with the amount of money i spent. for the $1500 i spent on sub and amp, i could have had a much cleaner hitting sub and louder. install looks great as does the truck. i do love my jl equipment but really wish there was more to it for the price paid

buddy of mine has a 97 m3 and will be doing similar to it real soon... minus the big bass, love the m3s man. great drivers car and you have a clean system.

the box looks awesome. I really like the roundover bit use on the port walls and box exterior.

mow the lawn, clean flower beds, wash her car, cook/clean dinner, and vacuum the house/clean the windows. takes a whopping 4 hours but they love you oh so much more. my mom is 59 and loves to do all that except vacuum since i have a black lab in a house designed for a golden retriever. She also enjoys being able to relax on her day off and just enjoy playing with the dog and having me do what she usually does. I am employed though and pay some of the bills around the house so she is already grateful. easiest thing though, buy her a card, write a heart felt note in it telling her how grateful you are of her, and make dinner. moms are awesome like that, the simple stuff is what they love more than flashy stuff (from their kids anyways).

This http://www.amazon.com/PAC-AA-GM44-Amplifier-Integration-Interface/dp/B004M4WHHE direct plug and play, gives you rca ends to hook up an amp. its about $50 and no cutting needed if he isn't amped. i just bought one for mine and it works fine

VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION
Mtopper replied to tkev77's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
they're very nice amps. i had a 300/2 that went bad with a low ohm light popped on. it was $30 to fix. blown channels could get expensive. i'd call and ask a repair center for a ballpark repair cost before buying them. if you could get them fixed and bought for under $300, you could easily turn and sell them for $400 on craigslist (usual going price in detroit) or use them yourself. love the slash series. good luck man. -
impressive. that'd be nice
