hey guys i was looking for someone to help me try to design a dual reflex bandpass for my 2 15's, idk if this is something that each sub would beed its own box, if so thats fine but i would like both of them to be in the same one. if this is gonig to be a bad idea just tell me and i can make a slot ported box for them. i would just going to try something new. hoping to have them tuned to about 32-34hz i will be running them off a BC5500d. i have 4 yello caps, with another under the hood. i am using 4 RF power series, 2 6.5's in the front and 2 6x9's in the back running off a rf T8004. big 3 done with fat mat everywhere. planning on using MDF with a lot of fiberglass on the inside to keep it solid. looking to upgrade my front speakers tho, any suggestions for that would be much appreciated as well, those would be running off the rf t8004. looking for 2 ways with a budget of about 400 for the set. thanks kyle

i own a fully loaded 18 q (minus the high qts because its in a ported box) tuned to 31hz running off a aq1200d amp and it sounds deep and gets suprisingly loud. i think a 15q off this amp would have you very satisfied. if your going to get most of the options i might suggest an amp like ZRX1500.1D

For speakers i was looking at: Bost Acoustic SR60 Focal PS 165 DLS X-Program X-SB62 Soundstream RF3.6c Precision Power PC2.65c anyone use or are currently using these? will be running off an RF T8004

what does he have in there to do the hat trick?

hello im puttng together another system in 01 Blazer. i have a 2010 Fi Q in a 7.6 ft^3 ported box tuned to 31 hz running off of an Aq1200D amp with a yello cap in the back.. and im upgrading to 2 18" N3's and 2 12" RE XXX that ill be running off of MTX TE 4001D. but i am looking for an amp for the N3's. the 18" will be in the back in a seperate box from the 12's which are over the back seat. i was planning on adding 5 more yellow caps as well. any suggestions for amps is much appreciated. current thought is aq3500?

the best sq ive heard is from 2 dd 9510's and 2 15" fi q's. dont worry about what youve heard, this is the system i want and got, im just looking for a suggestion on an amp that produces between 5k and 6k rms thats not going to break the bank. and by no means am i saying that what ive got is sq, its going to bump.

hello, as stated i am in need of a box design. i got 1 18 Q and a aq1200d amp and it will be going in a 2000 grand prix. so i have about H = 16". width = 30". and length = 32" of room for a box but i do not know how big to make the port. i am going sub on top and port at back. suggestions needed.

ManRossDamn How wide of a port would you need if it had a heigh of 15"? That is my question..

ok thanks. i will be taking the carpet and stuff out and putting dynomat in the trunk so i might have a little bit more room. with those dimesntions H = 16". width = 30". and length = 32" will my port have to be very wide?

hello all you people out there. I just recently ordered an 18Q duel 2 and a AQ1200D amp. I am going to be putting it in a 05 grand prix gtp and was hoping for some feed back as to what kind of wire, how much of it and where to get it. and if i am going to be needing another battery. if so what kind and where a good place to get it would be. I am making a box at the moment, its 34", 30", 18" and set at 32 Htz. any feed back to help an ex kicker cvr user out is much appreciated. WOOT FI Audio
