I REFUSE i always have people in my car and main complaint is they cant hear the music all they hear are the woofers and the bose system is shit. what about for the rears?
-
ya i feel ya the fuck the people in the back right. i need to to the all the way around. i went to a local shop that does car audio stuff and they told me alpine type r components up front and coax's in the back with a nice 4 channel amp will over power a XCON with the SAX 1200D. This true? i mean itd be a shame to have to get 2 xcons

im looking to buy a single 15" sub. im upgrading from 2 12" sony xplod sub so im sure whatever i pick is going to be a helluva upgrade but i still want to get the best bang for my buck and SQ. I looking at the Icon X and Fi Q and i wanted to know which would be louder and have better SQ. Also what box should i use sealed or ported Vehicle: 2008 Trailblazer LT with bose all the way around with a pioneer 3200 DVD indash headunit. THanks for all your feedback

wait 1200w would blow an xcon to?
-
icon says rated at 1000w rms tho. would it handle a 1200D? and how does that compare to an xcon?
-
so an icon/xcon is a thumbs up with khaotik 15" ported enclose and saz-1200?
-
could the khaotik 15" ported enclosure work well with an xcon?
-
ya i just dont wanna have to upgrade anytime soon. I heard xcons and Fi Q's were great and they are loud and sound really good to. would the be louder than the dcons and still sound good to?
-
thats exactly what i want. loud but not that just obnoxious annoying sound constantly. im learning already, so a dcon ported box?

ive only heard my sonys and my buddies kicker comps up close to be honest. im just looking to get into more and more. I love the feeling from my subs and i just want to go bigger now but with some good """SQL""". Im still new and still learning most of this stuff.
-
Meh, you know what i mean I want it loud but to sound good. It's doesn't need to be like 150+ db I'm not competeing nor do I plan to. I just want a good sounding loud sub.
-
Right now I have stock electrical with a 3.5 farad cap. My sonys are just cheap subs and I've had them for years and starting to sound like shit. I'll probably get a 1000w rms amp for the sub. I'd like to get more sq out of it but have it still be relatively loud I'm not competing I just want it loud enough you can hear me coming. Space doesn't matter to much I don't haul much stuff in my truck. Thanks guys

will it sound good tho?
