BME Click from Lil Jon's Kings of Crunk Cd Nice review, what are the specs of the box and what kind of car is it in?
-
Very well put, and one of the reasons I feel FI is one of the best internet based sub companies online in my opinion. Great products and outstanding customer service will always make a winning combo

X2, all my local shops think the same thing that their mainstream products are the chit but Im hoping to grab a lil attention with my FI setup

Nice vid and flex, what type of car is it in?

As far as being a difference in loudness, then yes their will be a big difference. Im not a expert, but it seems to me just the jump in power alone (not to mention the BTLs are loud anyway) and you will be able to tell a big difference Im sure some of the other forum members would be able to answer your question better than me though....

Hi just have a simple question. What would be the ideal tune for someone who has never owned or run a ported box before? I have build and worked on plenty of sealed boxes before, but I wanted some opinions on a good tune for a pair of FI Q 15s. They are going to be in the trunk of a 04 Ford Crown Vic, subs and ports firing toward the taillights. I love my lows very much but I also enjoy the whole bass spectrum period. Right now, my mids and highs are crossed over at 80hz but im planning to upgrade to a set of nice comps( Rainbows or Crystals not sure). Should I set my crossover point lower like to 60hz maybe, and tune low like to 28hz? Like I said, I love my lows and was considering a pair of 18s sealed before I settled on the Qs. Any help is greatly apperciated thanks

Well one of the saddest things I had to do was sell my 4 AA assassin 12s recently. I purchased these subs brand new from AA about a year ago, and have LOVED every min I have had them. They seem to have no problem keeping up with whatever I was in the mood to listen to, from Young Jeezy and Jibbs, to Anita Baker and Sade, to my 80s stuff like Duran Duran and The Cars. The SQ with them was great. The only issue with them was that they didnt want to play the lower notes as strong as everything else, but other than that they were perfect, esp at only $75 a peice. Much louder than I expected. They were in there recommend 1.2 cubic feet box per chamber sealed in the trunk of my 04 Ford Crown Victoria. Here are a few pics and sorry about the sloppy install, it was only like that for a couple of weeks, (I was just so excited to get my subs lol)! And heres after I cleaned things up a lil bit Great products and great customer service, lookin foward to what AA has to offer in the near future, Thanks again from on very sasitified customer!!!!!

Im not sure if you would have enough space. My cousin had a 01 Ford Taurus, and the most it looked like would be a pair of 12s because of the height. I drive a 04 Ford Crown Vic and my max measurements are 40W x 25Hx 25D and that took up the entire trunk except for the little space behind the taillights, and the packgage shelf under the rear deck. Not trying to discourge you, just trying to be realistic about what you want to do. Good luck!!

X2, Nice and simple I like that. Good job!

I hope not, I got a lot of trunk space in my Crown Vic but not that much lol

Hey mark, I got a quick question, any idea about the subs recommend box specs for car audio? Sealed and ported?
-
sweet, that should be nice and loud.
-
The updates look great its a nice refresh from the old site.
-
Nice review, what did you have your crossover set too? Just curious.

That really sucks man, sorry to here that. Hopefully, you will be able to bounce back eventully.

This is a really nice build log 727, and the results look promising. Great photos as well. I dont envy you with having to run all that 0 gauge wire. I had a question, did you just double up the connection up front at the alternator to hook them all up? Install looks great and I bet its loud in the Lac.

Just a quick question, I have a JL 12W6V2 that I bought on ebay a couple of years ago. Sub worked fine for a while, but eventully died on me (my fault of course, got a lil greedy with the gains lol)and has been collecting dust at the house ever since. I was wondering if FI can do a recone on this sub? Thanks.

Im really diggin the box mlstrass, came out real nice even with the decals, lol. As long as the GF happy thats all that counts and shes into car audio too. Thats marriage material in my book. How does it sound?

I see you dont waste any time, this should be nice. I always enjoy a good install log with lots of pics. Excellent.
-
By the way thanks so much for that info

One question, would 4 cubic feet at 27hz be ok? Or would I need more airspace and a higher tune?
-
Very nice Mike, been looking foward to these. I wanted to run a pair ported, but I might not have sufficent space in my trunk (its 10 cubic feet). Either way, sub looks great.

Very clean box, looks nice a solid.
