    does the engine have to match for it to work cause mines 2.7 and the jeep is 4.0 does that matter

  3. ok we need a little bit of work on it today all i did was change the ground of the cap to the chasis and now the alt whine is gone out of the components but its still comming out of the big thing i didnt think of this till i got home but maybe i should run the ac inverter on the cap and it might filter out the noise because there is no noise comming out of the comps and the amp is connected to the cap but the inverteris connected to the batt also the same set of rcas are running from the headunit to the amp then y cables from the amp into the behinger so how could it be the rcas ? unless that beringer doesnt have some kind of filter the amp has ? dont know we will try more things friday i tryed to get a video but my camera kept saying internal memory full even tho nothing was on the camera i did get some pics we need to put some capet in to cover up the foam and cuts in the seats and the guy said he likes bass just not rap music but he doesnt want subs
  4. yea i was just going to separetly ground all the stuff like the plug in thing the amp the cap see what happens we tryed to hook up the 15 to the amp it doesnt works it has its own built in amp and it gets loud off the ac plug i cut its power corld and there was 3 wires in side blue white and black cause we were going to try to put it on the amp but it didnt work so i solderd its plug back on and put it in its ac thing its fine we just need to solve the loop and i told the guy he didnt need a cap but he said he thinks it will help or he just wants to use it for the hell of it i guess cause the hc600 is his trunk battery and it says on it power of 100 caps so why do u want to add 1 more cap it wont do anything thats what i told him this guy doesnt like bass either so this setup is good for him he only listens to rock and the amp its a us amps 150 yea hes using home audio in the car i think the plug in thing is rated 400 watts it was fun what he wanted me to do he told me to cut a hole threw his seats with a sawzall and now we have the 15 stuffed in his seats and it gets hold in place with bungy cords in the trunk it doesnt look bad and its really loud the components speakers and the 15 give some bass for rock but he doesnt like huge bass from a subwoofer

    would the 180 amp you offer be ok for a sundown 3000 amp and some deka intimidator batteries
  7. also if i turn the music up to loud the volts drop way to much and my amp will go into protect i have a 250 amp alternator and a optima redtop under the hood and 2 deka intimidators in the trunk and a sundown 3000d im guessing the problem is the red top what do you guys think
  8. i got the die hard battery it measured them at 12.5v and wen it started charging it at 15a started at 77% one is fully charged ill go measure the volts its sitting at later this doesnt make sence why it couldnt start my car because it wasnt that dead it took under and hour to get it to 100% charge After my charger gets to 100%, it still takes about 30min afterwards to throttle the current back to a trickle and maintain charge voltage at 14.7v. what do u mean throttle it sit in your car and rev it up ? the deka is resting at 12.96 im definatly going to have to buy a good anlternator some time to keep my batteries in good condition

  11. ill be buying an agm charger this weekend this doesnt make sence how they cant start my car maybe they are garbage what if i fully charge it on a agm charger put it in my car and start it and it goes dead again is that possible these are factory clean ups too
  12. shizzon do you know what happend here did that charger have a reverse affect because it was 2amp and also nothing said agm on it but i used it any way so it read 12.8 with my dmm stayed that way for like 5 hours i put the deka under that hood started once turned it off started it again car wouldnt start dmm the battery it read 11v took it out put my redtop back in (didnt put the redtop on a charger just the 2 dekas at work today) set the deka aside didnt hook it back up car starts fine with the redtop then i dmm the deka again and its at 12.5 wat is going on are my dekas ruined or do i need to buy a proper charger for them to work' when i first took the charger off i only charged them for an hour and a half on 2amp and they read like 13 somthing them quickly fell to the 12.8 is that charger mest up or wat ive never had problems with my batteries dieing until i put them on that charger
  13. i put the deka under the hood i just started my car 1 time and now that battery is dead did that charger mess up the battery or what its just some crap charger the meter doesnt even work on it i was just ussing a dmm to measure that battery and i thought it was charged
  14. well i didnt ready your post about having the setting to 10a or higher i charged the 2 dekas today at work it took about an hour to charge each it had a 2amp and 10 amp setting i had it on 2amp cause i thought lower would not hurt it i dont know why but they are resting at 12.8 now im going to remove the redtop tonight

  16. yea i think i got ripped off on the altnernator stupid ebay who knows maybe the stock one was even better oh and we have a battery charger at my work i can use but i dont know if its for agm ive never really looked at it i know its a new one digital and everything will they be a setting on it for agm ? this is the box it came in and the guy told me its 250 amps
  17. i just disconnected the 2 deka from the front connection and now they read 12.4 im going to fully charge bother dekas tomorrow take out the redtop put one of the dekas up front and see if they hold their charge
  18. i checked the redtop its 12.4v i didnt disconect it tho i could charge the 2 rear batts tonight but i dont want to disconnect the redtop tonight my car is retarded i dont have a jack and u need to take the wheel off to replace the under the hood battery

  20. im not sure if my alternator is that good because if you look at the dc power alts they are like $500 and i got my 250 amp alt on ebay for $100 somthing they guy assured me its 250 amp but nothing on the box said it and it was made by world power systems or somthing maybe its garbage should i take one of the batteries out maybe i have to many
  21. would a battery isolator help so is the way i have the batteries hooked up right or do i need to change the grounds also yea wen i charge it i wonder how long they will stay up maybe i need a better alternator maybe its messing up cause i have the red top and 2 dekas maybe i should ditch the redtop cause its not the same kind of battery maybe thats why they arent charging right
