Welcome!! and clean set-up!

Hey guys, I just got a new sub put in my car and my box is currently sliding around all over the place in the trunk, (I drive a Mazda Rx8 btw), the box sliding is annoying and unsafe.. so I'd like to fix it asap. I was hoping to get some ideas or suggestions on how to stop the movement! Thanks in advance! If pictures would help, let me know. I could try to get some!

Thank you guys! Much appreciated!

Ohhh, I do like that idea! How should I go about it? Get a cardboard cut-out first? Then trace it to some mdf?
-
lol that's funny.

You can't underpower a sub, so if that's what you're worried about, don't be.
-
Alright! That's what I was thinking but was open to other ideas as well, thanks!
-
If you have the space I would go for the two 10's! How do you plan on not having a box though..
-
That's a great post, thanks for letting us see how it works and what goes on! It's really neat! Looking forward to any updates/more pictures of the process!

The Rockford Fosgate P3S is an option too! Sounds good and gets pretty loud, especially for only throwing ~400 watts at it!

Waiting for more updates!

That's a really neat/good idea!

I'd stick with 8 as well, that way you're in Fi's recommended size!

Sounds rough.. lol

New Member Help need help choosing Sub?

I'd go for a single 10" or 12" driver with a ported enclosure too! With $1,200 you can do a lot. Doesn't mean you have to spend all of that though. Check out Fi, Sundown, or even an SSA driver! They have some of the most BANG for the buck, and not to mention they sound very nice if put in a good enclosure! P.S. -
Great review, couple of the songs you listed I had to youtube, took me back..

Sort of new to this, but I would like a sundown amp too, could somebody post a link to the website as to where you purchase these from Chris? Pleaseee.

Awesome! Will be looking forward to the review, as well as maybe a video?

Should pound pretty great! Good luck! You do know Fi recommends like 3-4 cuft for a Fi 15" right? lol
