Good luck, I'm finally about to put mine to full power on thursday, I'm excited.

I have two N2 12s myself and I'm ordering (been planning to for the last 5 months) to buy the AQ 3500.1 when I get my tax return in!!

State of Hawaii trying to ban ALL aftermarket systems

We have the right to bear arms, but not speakers. -
Vehicle: 2002 Camry Equipment: 2 12" BTLs, 4.2 cubes, single 6" aero 33hz, AQ 1200D Meter placement: Legal; sealed at the dash Music: No clue Tones: 38 hz, 137.5 (I think my peak is much lower, didn't have enough time to test.)

Ah, mine is to hopefully break a 150 in a trunk car.

x2 Hahahahahah Edit** On topic, Fi BL. There you go, there is one... along with many others.

The XL is more comparable to a BTL. The XL and the BTL are about the same in price too. I was actually looking between these two and ending up getting the BTL. IMO I like my BTLs sound a little better than the Level 3s I've heard, and I can only guess that the Level 3s sound better than the XL. The BTL destroys the lows like the Level 3, but when it came to the high end (40-60hz) range, the Level 3s really struggled with that where the BTL is having no problems. Don't quote me on this, but I believe the BTL has a little bit more motor force than the XL, or at least the Gen 2 did. Fi machines all of there parts in the USA, DC only imports and assembles in the USA. Also, I'd like Nick or Scott to chime in on this, but I've heard that DC's subs are PSI adaptions to Scotts old RE lines.

I'm considering running around 5kw in the summer to each of my btls for fun... DO IT BRO!

The mids will then be set from 80hz-5000hz, whats wrong with that And the tweeters will be set at 4-5k to up
-
Well, I'm going to need some PA mids to blend with my crescendo supertweets. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=264-422 I'm looking at these, they are 8 ohms. My plan is to split the power of my rear two channels of my Arc Audio FD4.150. It's rated 160 per channel at 2 ohms. I currently have Type R 6x9s on them, and I wish them to remain on the channel. Assuming I hook up 2 of those Selenium mids + a type r 6x9 per channel, the amp will see a two ohm load correct? 1/(.125+.125+.25)=2. And each speaker will be receiving ~53 watts (of course not continuous) correct? This seems like it should work but I'm not positive...

http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=266-472 Since I'll have both mids wired in parallel, can't I use one of these per 2 mids?

Need cheap 1/0 ANL fuse holders

I need 5 ANL fuse holders that supports 1/0 wire. The cheaper the better, any ideas? -
I have a different amp for the tweeters and I'll use the HPF for them... and where could I find a crossover for the PA mids then?

https://www.vtewarehouse.com/html/clearance.php 14 cents each.. 1 gauge should fit the 1/0 with minimal trimming.. minimum order of 15$ though.. i bought 200 lol. They don't have 1/0 or 2/0 with 3/8" holes. -

Looking good so far, now anyone know where I can get some quality 1/0 ring terminals with a 3/8" hole for a good price? -

These actually come with a free fuse though, so just for the holder it's only like $3 more, plus I dont need a connector, would any of you guys trust this site? http://www.tti-plus.com/Bluewave-Platinum-ANL-Fuse-Holder-p/bw-anhs21.htm The only thing shady about these, it looks like you use a tiny alan wrench to secure the wire... -
The 12s weighed 42lbs a piece, so for the 18, I'm guessing around 47-48lbs.

Trying to help my brother out here. The SSD will sound good enough for him, quite a step up from a rf p2 so I'm just going by what would you guys expect to be louder? Each sub would be in a proper enclosure. It'll be in his eclipse, which is a hatchback. Single 10".
-
Basically, DC, DD, Fi, AQ... They all get loud, but only one can sound the best while doing it.. Fi.
-
1 sub obviously won't need as big of a box, but the cone area advantage of the BLs cannot be beat. I'm sure you are going for loudness (both will sound good), and I'm expecting you to be putting in rated power. 2 BLs.
-
I saw this video earlier. LOL, I don't even think it's the OPs sub... and yes, it is on extremely low power, it looks alright to me. Valid point Nick... that sub is definitely messed up because I can see it in a youtube video... ... ... Hhahahahahahahaha.
-
He's pretty set on not getting a BL. And consider for music purposes, the SSD will not be seeing that full 1200 watts, more around the 900-1000 watt range. To answer the question above, he's going ported FO SHO, and he listens to rap. It's going to be a daily sub, but to narrow it down further, which one would be louder on music?
-
I keep trying to push him to the BL, but it's a little out of his budget...
