Okay, and I thought about it, I have the right serpentine belt because it fit my stock alts pulley perfectly. My current one has it appears 2 extra notches, I can put the belt to the left, right, or middle. Will this new pulley make it fit perfectly again? And should I order by phone? -

I can't think of anytime I've even hit 4,000 RPMs Is there any way you are able to calculate what is the minimal RPMs I'd get charging at? I'm about 50 RPMs short of charging at idle right now. -

Looking at some of the ones they use for Scion TCs, same 2AZ-FE engine, it doesn't appear to look big... http://www.fastscions.com/house-of-billet-2azfe-lightweight-aluminum-crank-pulley-2azfe-scion-tc-xb.aspx -

After searching over an hour on the internet, no dice, so I'm going to use my step-dads tool to measure it. What part am i supposed to measure, the outer diameter including the belt or the part the belt sits on? -

Do they not make the 4" coil option for BLs anymore?

When you say you think the subwoofer is reaching its safe mechanical limit, xmax, not xmech, could you show a video of it playing?

Whats so funny? I get pissed when I'm driving down the road, bassing, and my doors fall off.

Pick me! I may not be loud, but 129.9s all day in the lanes!

Can I find the crank pulley diameter online? And the pulley that is currently on my alternator has 2 extra ribs on it than how many my belt has. Matt was thinking it was just a standard pulley you guys put on. -

What are the benefits of using one of these? Right now I'm 50 RPM shy from charging at idle, would this allow me to charge at idle? Are these something we can install ourselves, for example, take off the old pulley and put this one on with no modifications? -
I'm always big about trying new speakers, and I even thought about what I should get next... but when I thought about it more and how my money is supporting our own economy, I'll always be rolling with Fi. The BTLs rank within the top subwoofers anyways, so really no need to switch; Plus I love the way they sound.
-
Most competitors in SUVs see best results with the subs up, and port to the rear. Sometimes the port very close to the hatch gains, sometimes port far away gains, but for the most part, this orientation is the best for overall output.

Fi produces a great product, we all know, but them breaking crap in my car is annoying. Well it's officially gone too far now and I'm slightly mad. How should I fix/prevent this from spreading further. Song used was Decaf's Red Chain, destroys the lows, as seen in the pic.
-
Found the other corner had a crack on it, but it was the lip only thank heavens.. Either way, took your guys advice, did a temporary fix. The other tear had some rust on it, so it must've been there for a while. Take note rookies, sunroofs suck.
-
If the JB weld doesn't hold, I'll give this a shot.
-
The Q should deliver a fair amount more SPL output if Fi's goals on the N1 are still the same.
-
Alright, well tomorrow I'm going to work on the repair, I'll take some pictures and I'll drill the hole since I'm going to have to sand down everything anyways. Good thing my car is a common color, should be easy to paint over. If the JB Weld doesn't hold, I'll take it to a body shop when I'm in Tech School.
-
So JB weld and what kind of epoxy? Do you think it will prevent further rips?
-
If it was paint, do you think I would of made a thread on how to fix paint?
-
The sheet metal is torn completely, trust me on this one.

Hop on this deal guys, $50 saved is a nice chunk of change. Plus, not only are you saving money, but you're going to get a powerful alternator thats needed for any high powered system. I'll vouch that Mechman gives the absolute best customer service I have ever received. Between the great product, the costumer service, and saving some money, you can't go wrong with ordering your alternator during this promo! I believe the AVBM comes standard with most alternators now too, correct me if I'm wrong. That means now you can easilly get that desired voltage you've always wanted. It will even work for 16V systems as well!
