oh so basically exactly the same, its just labeled sax instead because it is kinda a different version. Like a modified newer version with upgraded heatsinks. That makes since. Btw.. What is the Difference between the SAZ model and the SAX model Sundown amps?.. I assumed the Saz models were for subs and worked best for 1 single sub idk? but then what is the SAX because now people are saying I should get the SAX 1200D. So is the sax the same and I could wire it to 1ohm to my single 18 ssd and have 1200wrms? Just making sure because I saw the sale on here for the sax1200d for 300 which is awesome and I would save up hard to get that if it works with single subs wired to 1ohm and can give me the 1200wrms! Sundown would be a dream come true!

I'm in Blue Springs near Independence. There are just so many choices when picking an amp. I'm thinking I want to spend under 250 for this amp and then get a great one like a larger sundown after I upgrade to the BTL. I might even try to spend under $200 for this amp since its a temp. one. Are any of you guys running SSD's? What kinda Watts Rms do most people run these on? I want to get just whatever is cheap for now but still enough rms.

How much could a get a Sundown amp for? I'll have to see if it would be in my price range. Also I'm kinda running this as temp. because I'm.... Addicted to bass and nothing is enough. I will be upgrading to the 18" btl ( not in the near future but after I finish my college payments this year's schooling ) At the moment I am working for Chacha on the side as my "audio money" and can make $100-$300 a month depending on how much time I can get online to work ontop of my other job and classes. Only stating that because I'm meaning I want something good that won't cut in and out when I'm playing and wont shut off but I'm saying I will be upgrading so It doesn't have to be top of the line since I will be getting rid of ( or adding to it ) within a year for the new sub. So wondering if its smarter to just get a cheaper ( audiopipe/ hifonics) for now and get the beast sundown amps when I get the btl in a year.

So I want to do the "Big 3" and I'm also about to re-run my amps power/ground because i'm upgrading amps and was looking for good cheap wire. I went to home depot and they have wire there that is much cheaper but I want to make sure it still works just as good? I saw they had 4awg and 1/0 and many others and they said they were copper wire. I just didn't know if it will do just as good. At my local audio shop its like $2 a ft for 4awg and $4 per ft of 1/0 but home depot is $0.85 per ft 4awg and $1.85 per ft of 1/0. It was just on their electrical aisle with all the random wires by the foot and crimps and all that good stuff. I was wondering because I saw people on here say you can use welding wire like from weldingsupply.com and such and was wondering if this is the same stuff so I wouldn't have to pay shipping and get it same day. If I do end up having to order it at say weldingsupply.com, when I order it there is either like large bundles of wire ( which I wont use that much) and then there is like ones that just say for ex: $2.85 or something. How do you order like say.. 20ft? Do you put quantity 20? Or is there somewhere else on the site that you order by the foot. ( you can post a link if you want to show me where * and what wire you recommend 0/1 * on their site ) P.S..... Where the crap do I get 1/0 terminals.. like ring terminals for the ends of the wire??!! best buy only 4awg.. home depot 4awg... my autozone only 8awg.. ?? I can't find larger then 4. So you're saying a quality amp that puts about 1000-1200rms instead. What is a quality amp then that is in that price range that is closer to 1000wrms then?

What kinda draw am I going to have if im pushing 1500wrms. Ive never pushed over 750wrms.. Will an extra battery like kinetik be good enough or do I need a new alt?

Are the audiopipe amps like the one you listed 15001d is it 1500wrms or is that 1500w peak power? I don't know much about audiopipe as a company/brand. Yes that looks awesome and the price is fantastic but is it a good quality amp and does it put out good clean power?

Budget = I'm poor.. Like literally the cheapest good amp I can get. I want to get a good one so I won't have to worry about it but I have $0 because I pay $315 a month for college right now and make only $600 a month on estimate.. I still have gas and insurance outta that 600.. But believe me I save every penny I can for my car audio.. I'm addicted. Ill skip meals for this stuff.
