My goal is try something different while I'm in between builds. I'm not sold on a BP, but its between that and a horn.

I don't know if it is or not, but considering its only gonna be in my truck until I get my other 3, I wanted to try something different.

Sucks about the accident, but coming from someone who has actually hit a deer doing 50, its just as dangerous. I was driving 99 Tahoe and the deer ended up in the back seat. I could see a decent sized buck taking out that entire cabin with that car sitting so low. Hopefully he'll slow down.

would .7 make a difference
gibsonm21 replied to knockinthastreetzof608's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Its a toss up, the .7 ohm is just the nominal impedance. My 1 ohm coils actually read .8 ohms. So in that situation, the gain would be non existent. In your case, you MIGHT hear a difference, but I doubt it. If it was me, I'd get the 1 ohm coils, but that's just me. I prefer the wiring options -
I've been looking around most of the forums and the only replies are "I wouldn't do it", but the question is never answered. Is it as simple as strapping two similar amps per coil or is there more to it. Also, can you put more than two amps per coil. If so, how. Thanks

Yes, I want to know how to do it -
Take it to court and get it thrown out, should be pretty easy if you were really doing 7 over. Now if you were really doing 17 over and he brought it down to 7 over, then I'd just pay the fine and slow down.

I'm looking at running 4 21" Wardens for my next build, but when looking at the info provided on both lines, the only difference is the Neo motor. While I know that the NEOs can produce a stronger flux, for the soft parts listed, the triple stack on the DP will push it to the max. Also, the Warden is only 2lbs lighter than the DP , so I don't see a reason to spend the extra 400 per sub on the Warden. So what(if any) underlying features am I missing? Will I see a gain running the Wardens over the DPs and why. Again, all i'm going off of is the info provided on the site.

DP/Warden.....I don't see the difference?

Yea, i'm about 95% sure i'm gonna get the Wardens, I just don't understand the 1000w power difference when both subs basically have the same softparts. Also, will you guys be having a 4inch coil option anytime? The Warden does looks much better imo, I don't care for the DP dustcap. -
