They're a really generic surf band.
-
I wouldn't trust those clip lights. At all. They're pretty innacurate. If you really did want a sundown amp you could buy refurbished or used.
-
Now that you're getting into wakesurfing you'll start listening to The Drums

Please help me choose a new direction....

They are two different subs for two different applications. I haven't personally dealt with either, but from what I can tell the Dcon will be easier to get a smooth response from. As for an enclosure reccomendation I could have sworn something was posted in a thread somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. I would just be patient and wait I'm sure it won't be too long. -
Glad to see you're finally getting a chance to install your equipment. I can't wait to see how it turns out. Good luck
-
This. Given your budget. Between the Q and the BL you would definitely want the BL for your goals btw.

Be sure to go to the courthouse rather than just paying the fine and moving on. I've had to spend some time in our local courthouse for law classes and depending on the judge you're pretty likely to get the speed reduced or the ticket thrown out all together. Dress well and be polite, I'm sure the judge will help you out in some way. At least that's been my experience.

Why would he have to "prove" himself? That's not at all why this thread is terrible. It's terrible because he put 0 effort into it. Seriously, the OP couldn't have done less. Answer the specifics Watts09 so nicely asked and someone can help you.

I'm wondering the same. I saw he painted the port black so suede or carpet is my guess. The install's looking good though
-
Will you be making a response video?

Never said there was something wrong with it, just isn't recorded by musicians and therefore isn't music. Music is not recorded by musicians either. It's recorded by sound engineers. Which is why so many bands suck ass live And if they suck live, I don't want to listen to their recordings. *most of my cd's were recorded live Depending on the musician I much prefer live. Eric Clapton Unplugged is a great example. Most indie bands are much better live as well. The last concert I saw was Japandroids and in all honesty they suck when listened to on CD, but there's so much energy at their shows you can't help but have a good time.

I didn't know you already had a wakeboard. I'd definitely take that out and get a feel for how the boat pulls. In my experience they're all a little different. I'm not sure if the Bu has this or not, but some of the MC's have an onboard computer that you plug your weight into and it pulls accordingly. Personally I don't even bother with it, but when pulling little kids I guess it would be handy. The key is having enough power to get a full sized person out of the water and a nice wakeboarding boat like that does it easily. If you haven't been pulled behind something like that it will be a nice surprise. Last summer I went out with a friend on an old sea ray and that sum bitch was struggling to get me out of the water on skis lol.
-
Of course. I need to find someone to pull me now...but I doubt that'll be hard. No spotter? I've always been so paranoid that I'd fall and the driver would just keep on going, but if you've got a driver you trust to pay attention you'll be fine. Even then finding a spotter will be easy. Whose going to pass up an opportunity to go out on the bu?

I've seen those old snowboards lol I don't know how the fuck anyone rode them. Very cool to be involved in something like that since the beginning. Weird to think the sports relatively new. If you haven't been wakeboarding or wakesurfing since then I think you should have a pretty easy time with it after getting used to the boat and equipment. If you could get up on a skurfer I'm sure with the new equipment wakeboarding and wakesurfing will come naturally. It's a really fun hobby to get into or back into I have a Mike Weddington Full Tilt board from ~ 96 which is I think pretty modern in its function. Could slalom when I was 6. Not much has changed other than camber design recently. For something like slalom traditional stiff camber is the best way to go and probably will be for awhile. Base design might offer some advantages now days, but I don't follow the technology closely enough to say
-
When you get you're Malibu let me know how you like it. I'm also curious how the wakesurfing will go and what board you'll end up going with

the vests are in the wetsuit section so when I saw the sizing chart I just figured it was for lifejackets. You could always try out a forum. I know that can be a bit of a pain, but a lot of times guys who own shops are members and might be able to check their stock and measure for you so you know which brand carries the longest ones.
-
Sean, I wasn't able to come up with much online so I grabbed a tape and found some jackets at the house and measured. I compared an O'neil XXL to a L and the length is identical. I measured the large by opening it and measuring from the top of the neck down to the bottom. It came out to be 23'. If you think that's ok for your height then you could just order a L. Found my jacket and its a medium so disregard my earlier post. Its been a few years since I've needed one, that's my excuse for pucking that up. The one I measured was an O'neil Assault. I have no idea how old it is though. I'm gonna say about 3 years? When I searched around I found a few threads about it, but not much helpful info. Here's one and here's another. Both made by the same guy and didn't get many responses. There's another here but it won't let me view it without registering. I kept seeing a lot about overton lifejackets, but I've never used them so I can't really recommend them. O'neil seems to be the only manufacturer that offers a tall lifejacket, but I cant find many online retailers. I checked their site and all the retailers they list just sell their clothes and shit like that. If it were me I'd check a local boat shop and see if they have anything in stock or can order it. The O'neil LT would be perfect if you could get a hold of one.
-
Here's where I found out about the O'neil T sizes O'neil Size Chart. Here's a screenshot of the chart just in case that link doesn't take you to the right place because the site is sorta weird. So that leads me to believe they carry those sizes. Finding them is another story. I'll look to find O'neil dealers online. If that doesn't work I'd find a local one and call and see what sizes they offer. I'm not too sure how bad the mark up is at a store though. I'd be extremely surprised if nothing turns up online

LOL. My snowboard is a 178 K2 Freeride circa 1988. Big bombing fast board, but with lip so you can do more than slalom. That board is HUGE. I ride a 156 and that's pretty big for a park noodle. I started off on a 160 something Illuminati Pentagon series though so I've given that style of riding a try. Local runs suck ass though so it just wasn't able to hold my interest.

I think you've got the right idea. No reason spending tons of money on a rope if you're not going to be doing it a lot. Most people use a wakeboard or ski rope so that will easily be a step up from that. By not a lot I meant I'll be dropping the rope very shortly Everyone does lol it just takes patience. I've sworn I'll never wakeboard again so many times out of frustration, but once you get the hang of getting up it's all fun. It took me awhile to finally get it down, but I've seen people get up their first try.

Funny, am shopping for one in another browser in parallel On my old lake I'd just wear my wetsuit, but that isn't legal and on Tonka they'll probably do something. Floats enough to have someone save my life if necessary, but not coast guard approved. Frustrated with all I've tried on as they aren't long enough when they fit my chest. Even the XL? Hmmmmm I wanna say that I've seen some XL longs before which are just longer for taller people. O'neil has a sizing chart on their website and the XLT is meant for people up to 6'5". If there's a dealer in your area you could try one on and see how the fit is. I've got an Assault and like it. I am not XL, only tall. 43" chest... Thanks for digging though, I hadn't been able to find a tall yet. Off to oneils site If I remember right my dad wears an XL and hes 6"2 about 180? Maybe less, my family's really thin. I wear a normal large and I'm 6'0 and 150lbs. You definitely want to be comfortable though so make sure you've got a good fit before. I'll look around and see what I can turn up

Sean, I'm also kind of curious what kind of snowboard you ride. I'm guessing directional traditional camber? Being a park guy I ride a true twin reverse camber. Stepchild jibstick with union forces FTW. RC isn't good for speed, but they're so fun to ride. You just float and they've got ridiculous amounts of pop. I've been dying to try out a Bataleon with that TBT.

I've never kneeboarded but I hear it can be brutal. I've tried to slalom so many times, but never could. Even when I tried dropping a ski I'd always end falling and swallowing about a gallon of water. I drop a ski periodically, but that would be the slalom ski. I can't deep start barefoot, but dropping the slalom has mixed results. Hurts too much to fall though. Perhaps I'll get a boom for the BU. I've never tried a boom, but can agree about falling hurting like hell.
