In that case I guess an SA-15 would be your best bet. They perform well in small enclosures. I'm not sure what your goals are for the system, but they may work. Sorry to have potentially misled you.

He said he wanted a 15" to use in his current box that is 2.89 ft^3. Even for an SA-15 series that is pretty small. He never stated a budget, goals, or space requirements

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I really think you should build a new box if you want a 15". You will get much more out of any sub you buy by building an optimal enclosure for it.

I have not seen it in a while. Hard to with out cable or TV. Do they stream it or re-broadcast it on the intarwebz? I haven't found anything streaming, but I prefer this anyway, FinalGear. I just download the episodes if I care to watch them. I don't have a dvr and don't bother to watch it when it's on so this is how I see it. Its actually the first episode I've watched since season one. I'll stick to the UK Top Gear S17 E5 has to be one of my favorite episodes from TG UK of all time. The Interceptor bit was awesome, and to see what he went through mentally with the F1 car was fascinating. It might have been my favorite episode as well because of the F1 film. It's really amazing when they put it into perspective like that. The Interceptor film was hilarious too. If you haven't seen this weeks episode with the Aventador you should try to because it was really good as well.

Why do you feel the need to send so much power to something that wasn't meant to handle it? You would be risking blowing the subs and wouldn't even see much of an increase in output (if any at all audibly) compared to sending them what they're rated to handle. You won't get harder hitting by sending so much power to them. You'll just fry them

It's getting better. The only reason it sucks is because they are trying to follow the British version and they don't have the distinct personalities to pull it off. I agree with that. They need to get rid of Rutlidge though, I fail to see what he is contributing.

You would want to order a pre-assembled kit from Madisound if you went that route. The one I linked you to includes the crossovers as well. I'm not entirely sure what it is you were looking at.

I don't think that Alpine amp works with anything but Alpine HU's. I know a member here had one and said it was a marginal improvement from normal HU power (StefanHinote I think). I think your best bet would be to find something used. There are TONS of two channel amps for sale on various forums. As for those coaxes, don't waste your money. If you are going to buy an amp you may as well spend the money on components. You can even find a pair of components for the cost of what you posted. Also, don't waste your money on the rear speakers. Just leave what you have in there as rear fill and use the money you saved on your front stage. I strongly encourage you to invest in some quality sound deadening as well. Remember, install>equipment

Aside from that he has some questionable people endorsing his product. I'm sure the subs are good, but I'd have trouble buying from him.

I have celiac disease which is essentially a gluten intolerance. I can not ingest, or sometimes even come in contact with wheat, oats, barley, rye, and malt. Sorry to hear that. Those last ones would be rough. Unless you prefer liquor I guess.
