Hmm, connection maybe? my ipod has been able to take some serious heat lol, black truck black leather and 100 F louisiana heat, its still workin even though i left it on the dash a few times Do you have an iPod video? They use HDD's so there's moving parts. They aren't as durable as the nanos or touches. I don't know if the heat killed it or what. It's been left in there on hotter days. Oh well, I needed to upgrade from the 30g anyways.

Son of a bitch. I think I cooked my iPod. Left it in the car out in the sun and when I went to use it I heard a pop and now nothing. Everything works, but no sound.

Congrats! Too bad about the loss, but it sounds like it was fun.

Whole fuckin list of cars with flip up headlights http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidden_headlamps

I always liked the Camaro's myself. Charger has pretty cool headlights too

Couldn't agree more and would love to see a modern rendition. x3 i loved flip up headlights. fiero, daytona ('89), ferrari daytona, 512, slant nose porsche, i could go on for days. FD RX7 and the FC, and the starion, and supra, All sweet cars. Like you said, this could go on for days. AE86 and S13 240 are two that I find strangely appealing

Gotcha. I'm from Cincinnati so football is hard to watch, lol

That gen M5 is a cool car. In my opinion it's the way to go if you want an M5 in that price range. Great resale and better looking than the current ones.
-
Don't miss the M5? They are really sweet cars. I love taking ours out when I can.

Fantasy football?

Jesus! How many years were you there? well, my first semester was fall 02 and last was spring 08 but I had to miss a spring semester for health BS, switched majors twice and had to do less than full time once. Usually, I just piled on courses that I wanted to take whether they helped my degree or not (once i had the necessary shit of course). That's the one thing that bugs me about college. You're forced to take so many bullshit classes and miss the ones that you actually want to take. Switching majors can suck. I did it and got lucky, I only took one class that doesn't go towards my degree in my other major. I had some really really bad adviser advice when I switched to nutrition (imagine that). I had started in engineering and she told me my 1st semester of engineering chem wouldn't count towards general chem, same for my engineering calc (they required a way lower level) so i started my shit over. I switch to Biology and my adviser when batty when he saw my transcripts and suggested I sue her for the cost of my credits because she cost me over a year by making me take remedial classes. That's when I learned that what they require is bullshit, your adviser can override any of the "requirements". I've heard countless horror stories just like that. Makes me really nervous when it comes to advising. I think the chick I had last semester was pretty slow. She didn't know what an actuary was, lol. At this point I pretty much know what I need and when to question them. I keep a close eye on my catalog.

I fixed it for you. Very true. Doesn't matter how many cars you sell if you have costs like that. The benefits their factory workers used to get were insane. They still send Christmas checks to people who haven't worked for them in 40 years.

Your XL was a fastback right? We have a '65 convertible. I love those cars. The grill would be an amazing shop light
-
The Japanese don't have anywhere near the legacy costs Ford and GM have. Huge advantage.
-
Adds unnecessary cost, weight, and complexity to a vehicle. I don't know if I'd say unnecessary I guess I'm easily amused, but I like them
-
Why don't they make cars with flip up headlights anymore? They're so damn cool.

Yeah, the current engine in the RX-8 is cancelled. But supposedly there is this 16x rotary they are working on. I read several years ago where they were working on a 2 or 3 rotor, but nothing ever came of it. I'd like to see a big 3L 2 rotor. And I don't give a damn about fuel consumption either. That would be interesting to see. The number one complaint about the Wankel was the fuel consumption though I don't see how people can complain about that. You have to wind that damn thing out to make power anyways so you know damn well you are going to be going through fuel like water. Oh well. Can't say I understand it either.

WTF? Haven't looked, don't know, but fuck california I can't find anything on Google. Aaron must have some inside info. For what it's worth I looked too and turned up nothing. Sad to hear about it though. Hopefully they'll continue the RX line. For the money I really like the RX-8.
