It's a pretty good documentary. It's on Netfix if you've got it.

That's nothing more than a VIP pass to getting your ass whooped by the Yanks or Sox. We beat the Yanks in 06. I like our chances even more this year. We have the cy young/MVP on our team It's not 06 and there is only ONE team that can compete with NY and Boston and they own the NL. BTW, Verlander may well win Cy Young, but you'll never again see a pitcher win MVP. It's too bad. I'm tired of seeing them dominate the NL. Of course, I like the Reds and they're in the NL.

    Sundown SAX-1200D

I would spend the money to go ported first and then get the amplifier/s. If the two 1200s is a great deal then jump on it. Definitely. Start by making your xcon efficient with the power you have.

Does anyone like Mad Men? I have to watch a few episodes for a marketing class. So far it's okay, but I don't understand all the hype.

What can the SMD distortion detector do that a DMM can't? Why would you want to set your gains that way in the first place?

    Keep the W6v2's or...

It looks like you've just measured the inside of your trunk. You have to account for the trunk opening. Your trunk might be that large, but if the openings smaller you can't fit the enclosure in there. Given those dimensions you should be able to fit a pair of 12's or a 15" in a ported enclosure, unless your trunks opening is very small. Focus on building a good ported box. If designed correctly you should be able to attain a response as desirable to you as that of the JL's and an increase in output.

Do you know what kind of space you have to work with? You mentioned currently having a box that is 1.25 cubic feet, is that all the room you have to work with? Knowing how much space you have available would help out a lot. Your budget would also be helpful information.

Favorite part when they walk into the fbi / sheriff seminar and he still has coke under his nose... I liked the ether scene. I can't imagine what peoples reaction would be to that in real life.

Stefan, I didn't get to watch Fear and Loathing last night, but I watched it today. I see what you meant now. Good movie though.

It seems pretty effective from the video, but I've never had any problems just using a maul.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Where the fuck does the energy go? That is not real. Wondered the same. They didn't discuss any details on 60 Minutes. I couldn't find a link to the video, but here's the article http://www.cbsnews.c...tag=mncol;lst;1 Admittedly I just skimmed the article because I watched the show, but all it says is"A system designed to radiate the energy from the point of impact, reducing the blow on the body". I'm not surprised they don't explain it. I don't believe he is using a full powered round, even the recoil in his hand is sub-par. When I first watched it I thought he was going to load a .357mag to test it with but no way that's what he used. According to the article it's sold as bullet resistant. It mentioned that they offer various levels of protection. A tee shirt weighs around 4 lbs. The article mentions the clothes being able to protect against most handguns, but it never outright says whether or not it would offer protection against something heavier. I'm sure it doesn't and that's why it was approached the way it was.

WTF is the trick there. I normally have to rent a splitter, but my axe doesn't look like that either... What kind of axe do you have? I have a wood burning stove and just use a splitting maul. I would never cut pieces that small, but I've never needed a splitter.
