    Welcome to the IHoP

No. And changing comp sets isn't the best way to get their either. I asked if it was a bad idea, you said no, but I'm assuming you mean no in general to the whole thing. So if I wanted more midbass, instead of mounting fifty speakers on my door panels, what would you suggest. If I crossover the subwoofers higher then it starts to sound sloppy, not as "tight". Simply put, my goal is more midbass. I have the door, dash, and kick panels to work with. Or maybe I should just look for the speaker with the highest RMS rating and give it as much power as I can before it blows. Instead of pointing the kick panel speakers from opposite sides (ex, speaker on driver side point to passenger, passenger speaker pointed to driver.) if I pointed both speakers to the driver? I haven't read a whole lot on alignments... I see JL has a 6.5" subwoofer, JL Audio 6W3V3-4.......................................... Have you considered going active? Considering all the fabrication work you're able to do a fullrange and a hardcore midbass would be pretty sweet considering your goals. Sean's mentioned the idea before and it seems like it would satisfy your goals. Yes I'm starting to consider to it. I'm thinking about: exodus anarchy http://www.diycable.com/main/product_info.php?products_id=538 sls 6.5 http://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/approx-6-7-woofers/peerless-830946-sls-6.5-woofer-4-ohm/ then SEAS Prestige 4.4" http://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/approx-4-midrange/seas-prestige-mca12rc-h1304-4.5-coated-paper-midrange/ Legatia L3 HAT http://store.12velectronics.com/products/Legatia-L3-Speaker-Set.html And finally some tweeters if needed. and getting a new amp, some crossover, or maybe a minidsp? I know I'm very strung out and indecisive today, just a bad day for me. It would be a considerable step up from a component set. Let me know what you end up going with.

    Chrome books

I've seen these before. I watched a film that discussed Google's aspirations to phase out HD's completely. The idea was to build something like that and store data etc online rather than on the computer's HD.

Sean will like that idea Actually I'd rather see a ridiculously lightweight something with shitloads of power. A high revving lightweight 6/8 is more than fine with tha BOOST. What makes that car so desirable to you? You don't hear much about them, are they a good platform to build upon or something? I can get one from the year I was born, I prefer the look of them to any exotic from the non-super modern era, the drivetrain is vanilla Ford and easily and cheaply tweaked, they outhandle a Lotus Espirit stock for stock and there are ton of improvements that are easy to make, the dashboard is ultra easily shaped to make a more modern custom one, I "can" fit in one (with modifications - ie, dropping the floor a few inches), huge rubber fits in stock format, the ZF trans is pretty bulletproof, and they are just flat out sexy IMO. They do look really good. It's a perfect project car is what I'm taking away from this. Thanks for breaking it down, I was mostly curious why that as opposed to what else is out there.

Picking a section with a good professor is really important. If I can I ask people who have taken the course already or go to ratemyprofessor. I hate dealing with some prick for an entire semester. Only works for certain courses. Since I'm taking Nuclear Power Technology there's only one professor per course. Also its my last semester He seems okay...so far Congrats on being nearly done

    Welcome to the IHoP

I second that. I was in a class last year where all of the tests were open book. Class average on tests was around a 65. I think it's because most people hear open book and think that means they don't need to study.

So you actually want to pay money for it? Don't see that too often, lol. They sell it at the bookstore on campus. Might want to try a campus bookstore near you. It seems like the prices are nearly the same everywhere. I feel like I've seen Win 7 sold at staples for the same price as here on campus. If its a hundo I am not sure I'd like an illegal copy to save only that. Other software fine. Unless I should be educated here... I didn't mean it like that. Many people refuse to pay for software simply because they CAN get it free. Sometimes its not worth the hassle. Took a look and Win 7 is $200 for the full version of Professional and an extra $15 if you want the disc. I highly doubt it will be any cheaper in store. Might be worth a look though to avoid shipping costs and waiting.

I'm always amazed at how strange some people are when I'm selling something. Craigslist in particular.

Do you want the tab as a remote over some universal remote so you have something to surf on from the couch?

    Welcome to the IHoP

I won't be using the operating system either way. It will look and act like a remote control. The remote does include a web browser though Of course any thing I want to add from it can be as well, but skipping their interface completely will happen whether and Iturd or Droid. I'd consider buying used. The depreciation on those things is a bitch from what I've seen. Of the two I'd go with the one that can run flash considering your needs. Might not the most amazing flash experience, but it's better than not having it.

Gotta get those neon colored straps that float, lol. There's a lake near here where every marina sells them. The picture on the packaging look like it hasn't changed since the 80's. I hate wearing those things, ever since then I use a cinch strap to hold them to my head I've never actually tried them. They look irritating. I buy shades at the Goodwill all the time so I usually wear those when I'm on the boat. If I loose them I'm out a dollar. I don't think I've ever lost a pair though, lol. Just my favorite pair of Rays.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I've had several pairs. One is at the bottom of a lake, but the rest are sitting in my room. Pretty durable in my experience. Never experienced their CS but its good to know it's decent.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Yeah, to the low rider crowd and not much else. That type of seat was prominent from the 80s through to mid 90s. Mostly velour as well. My Cutlass, Regal, and Caddy were all this way. The Caddy would make me fall asleep while driving. I was being sarcastic, but yes that's who it would be likely to attract. Cleaning out a bookcase and found an old National Geographic with an ad for a late 80's New Yorker.
