Looking for max bang for buck amp will probably be a Cadence zrs c-9 100x4 rms ebay(139.00)or diamond d6 115x4 (229.00) arc 12 ssa dcon diamond d3 jl 10w3v2 any other suggestions

If this is what to expect from Skar audio,I'll be looking elsewhere.My patience is worn.Maybe its my wife and three kids and inlaws have burned me out.

I am trying to put together quality budget system for 60yr mans street rod.Looking at single 4or5 channel amp comps in front,coax for rear fill off of head unit and single 10 or 12 ,but would consider an 8 or pair of 8's.Car has full dynamat interior.Components will most likely be in lower front corner of doors,so tweeter location is unknown but most likely next to mid.Amp will be bridged on rear two channels for sub,remote sub nob would be nice.Sub depth is a concern +/- 6inches Speaker I have heard and liked. Polk mm.S329 Pioneer ts-d $200 Polks not worth extra $ but have better bottom end Bravox cs60k or carbon fibers ,have not heard Amps looking at cadence Ia4,arc 400.4 (woofers etc 199)stetsom but I know longer see them listed Subs arc 8,ssa 10dcon,bravox 8,daber I have owned original 12w6,and diamond m6 which were both great do it all subs so quality of sound is better than loudness.He listens to mostly country and classic rock.

head unit is not 4v preout ,which it may not matter but I think that it sends a better signal to amp.I have a Clarion cz500 in my truck seems ok for 150.00 from Crutchfield.I dont know anything about audiopipe.I did see a polk pa1100.5 for 299 on Polks outlet store on Ebay 85x4 x600x1 .I think the Hertz speakers look awesome but have not heard any,I ve looked at dls ,cdt,mb quart ,arc ,rainbow,problem is every audio shop I have been to has nothing to listen to.I went on Vacation to Gulf Shores ,al and looked at some Arc xxd subs and DD subs and comps which owner of shop said the new budget comps sound great and were only 169 but I dont know which model it was.They just came out at end of September. Are the hertz comps warm and smooth ?

I understand the wall thing ,I have seen the amp on here but it does say Boss on it .I could hide it so people didnt think I got it at the flea market.I know its a Zed amp but most people wont.I will keep it in mind.I could spend a little more money up front and skip rears. Interior is small so it probably wont make a difference.

Budget seems reasonable ,you dont think people riding in back will need to hear?Local shop recommends 2 pair of memphis coaxs in front or 6.5 and 6x9s plus sub ran of single 4 channel at 2ohms on coaxs ,no fade, and bridged rear for overall volume not Sq.I dont like that idea.I would like a decent soundstage. bravox cs60k 149 cs60 coax 82 dcon 115 arc 400.4 199 head unit ? wiring 50

What kind of music do you listen to and how much money are you willing to spend all choices I believe would sound good.

Any suggestions or combos of equipment?Has anyone listened to the Bravox speakers? They look nice but not much info on their website and most reviews are in spanish or something. I was considering cs60 comps ,matching coaxs in rear ,one 12 at back of car in about 1-1.5cuft with 4 x 75 or so amp

hey guys ,new to this forum.I found out about SSA by searching internet looking for a good SQ sub for a street rod project.Car is a 1934 chevy sedan ,ls1 red ,billet wheels with full dynomat interior.I also was looking for some good coaxial or components for my 2001 gmc crew cab.My occupation/background is a fabricator and millwright.I have grown up around custom rods,muscle cars and jeeps.With the two audio shops I used to buy from closed I am now looking online to buy products.My previous system I generally used phoenix gold amps ,mb quart comps,and jl 12w6(1997 model)and diamond 12d6 sub(2003) its been about 5 yrs since I have fooled with car audio.Got married had baby plus 2 of hers built house and got layed off due to stupid bank excecutives,politicians etc.Hope this gives you a little insight of me.I have installed probably 8 systems cd,amp ,subs in buddies cars.Skill level is high I can fiberglass,weld,roll,bend, just about anything.My best bud is a machinist so that helps as well.
