Recently, I let my girlfriend borrow my SLR camera, wasn't a exspensive one, but lately there's been some drama going on and her mom supposedly "broke" it. Now I don't know whether to tell my parents, or my brother who owns the camera, or just wait. My teacher recommended that I go send her a letter via, regiestered mail. That way she has to sign it. Sorry for the stupid question guys..

Been a while since I posted on this, sorry! But he works at best-buy, they sell decent amps. So I was gonna run around 3-400 watts RMS. Thanks

Haha thanks for the help guys I plan on asking soon and I might take her to court.

can i replace my home powered sub with F.I. woofer?
manrossdamn replied to matthubb123's topic in General Fi
Box is aprox. 4 cubes in my calculations. I'd say an SSD! If you want SQ sorta type stuff, the Q. But both can handle the power from that amp- 10 replies

For how much power you're running, you should be fine But if you have the money and time to upgrade to 2/0 or 1/0, then do it! Big 3 in 1/0 gauge is a must. Good luck

Her mom got pissed at her for me being over without permission cause I was chilling with her bro playing games. The camera was sitting on her bed, and her mom start bitching at her then took the camera. Her mom then proceeded to text me some very vague paragraphs about how she won't give it back. Lol. I let her use it, but not her mom. Her mom just happened to get extremely pissed about nothing.

You should really put a run of 0 or 4 gauge wiring from the front batteries to the back battery. It won't last very long if you figure out the amount of amps the amp will pull from the battery. It needs a constant charge from an alternator when the car is on, like the front battery. If you were to share the voltage between the battery, it would probably be alot better.

Gosh dang. Man shipping companies have become so lazy.

Her mom is crazy, litterally. Their dad called the cops on her three times for different reasons. She constantly accused him of cheating on her, and then she broke their chandelier. I didn't lend it, my brother is good friends with them too. I was borrowing it and then she wanted to take pictures. It's not her fault, her mom and dad are extremely self-righteous for they know what is all good and mighty for their children. Not knowing it is their fault their daughter has turned out the way she is.

I know it is a really bad problem.. I'm thinking of going to their house today and asking for it. But I asked one of my close friends to ask her brother (whom who dislikes me) to get it back. But before he even asked the queston, his mom said "Don't ask for his camera." Uncertain at this point. But can the cops do anything to help? Thanks for the advice.

What specifically happeend to your sub? And FI Rules! Congrats
-
Well if you were wiring your subs to a (mono) block, and you wired it in parrallel then you wold be running your amp at 1 ohm, in series it would be at 4 ohms. But yeah, go stick with the SSD/Q, it seems to fit you nicely

Is this sub box good enough for 1 Fi BL 15"?

Doesn't give you the specs and tuning. I'm too lazy to do the calculations, lol -

Does anyone have a layout for a sealed enclosure on the Q 12?

More volume = less mechanical control or something like that- 8 replies

Maybe a new battery would be called for too, considering that you had your gain's and boost set up wrong. Oh and did you know how you wired your subs? What ohms?

Your alternator is probably fried now, if you've been sending a clipped signal to your amp as everyone else is saying, then well. Go get a replacement alternator, your only choice, then to retune your setup. You could also have a bad ground, or some sort of short along the lines of your car setup.
