the ground from the HU? i just have it connected to the factory harness. i guess it could be how the factory amp is grounded? i took my saz-1000d out since im not using it at the moment -

saw something about a ground loop isolator. so i will see if any of the local car audio shops have one and will try that -

have been talking with mark, got the cracked dust cap off, now just gotta wait for the new one to get here. cant wait!! i want to say thank you to everyone who has helped and put up with me through all of this. yea, denim, he asked for my order number. sorry sir-lancelot, i feel like im going crazy. with all the excitement of ordering it, then waiting on it to get here, then waiting for time to install it, then to install it and have the joy of listening to it and then shortly be taken right back away after all that waiting.....lol

is mark online a lot? i know he was readily available when i was buying and getting info, but now it seems like its hard to get any info on how to get this fixed. not mad just antsy try to get this bad boy fixed

Agree. yes sir. what im doing. he feels pretty bad. and i feel bad too cause he had to give up his rent money. so i will be giving all back that isnt used. probly go ahead and give him 200 of it back today.

well he did give me 300. and i was going to order a new one and have this one fixed. but i dont want to do that to him if all it needs is the dust cap. yea he fucked up, but still...

well i got my icon and amp and build a 2.75 cuft sealed box that ssa reccomended on their site. i had it playing and it sounded ok, not as good as i was expecting from everyones reviews but that may be because i didnt adjust settings. but while i was listening the amp cut off and now only starts up in protect mode then shuts off. what would be my problem??? i cant figure it out

yea im not gonna buy a new sub. im just going to use what i need to fix this one. i was really pissed when i just woke up and saw that. so i told him to buy me a new sub. now that time has passed and im cooled off i told him i was only using what i need to fix this and pay for shipping -

i changed the ground location to a better spot i found so im all good. now just need a new dust cap i guess. -

no i am about to go figure that out. i went out to my truck saw the crack came inside called the guy up and told him about it. went to his house to show him the crack and get him to buy me a new one. now back at home and will hopefully figure that out. too bad i wont be able to listen to it. i was lucky and didnt have to wait for my ICON to be built since they had one already.
