Just a quick question, what the hell is that around Kayne's neck?

I didn't think about either of those.. Good points, Jul

Just throwing this out there by maybe a singular Dcon 10? It fits all of your requirements from what I'm looking at.. Except for wanting to run two.. Dunno about that, I think the SA-10s can run in about half a cube a piece when sealed so you could MAYBE go that route but I don't know how well they would like being put together in under a cube.. Then again, that's just products from the SSA store.. Welcome either way.

What is a good price for 2 Memphis 12" PR's, 500watt PR amp, a

Well, say you do the Big 3 in 1/0 and then do a run of 2 or 4 AWG to the back for the amp, the cap might not even be needed.. Other than that, seems like a good deal to me. -

I'm here to provide questionable answers with little to no backing -
^ I almost fell off my couch from laughing...

Hmm... I would say.. Definitely not a van or SUV, too common. No single cab truck with a bed topper.. Do something small-ish but give it a gigantic sound.

If only they could figure out a way to squeeze six more horses out at the wheels... Amazing video though. Oh, Mr. Block, how we would all love to have your skill...

You mean the Level 5's?..And I'm not stuck on anything, just getting a few opinions. Yea, that's what I meant, sorry for any confusion. And I wasn't trying to insinuate anything, apologies again, I was more saying if you were leaning one way more than the other.

Builds like this almost make me wanna buy a car.. Oh, and they motivate me.. And make me really jealous..
-
I'd stick with the 21s as they are, but maybe switch up to the Wardens for that little bit more beast mode. If you're stuck on the switch to 15s, I would definitely say the L5s, they're backed with some pretty incredible specs.. Either way, we'll all probably be watching.

I know I have a car audio addiction when......
cedartowndawg replied to Aaron Clinton's topic in General Audio
You know you're addicted to car audio when the first build you plan on doing is only going to be a hold over Icon 15 so that you can bump until you have the cash for two twenty ones and a wall. In a vehicle that isn't even insured currently. -
If you're going over 2k, you're more than likely going to need a new alternator to keep up with the amp draw, same with the battery. The best amp, alt and batt all depend on who you ask.
-
Big three, high out put alt, another battery, and a volt meter, for starters.
-
That's pretty impressive, especially at only three hundred going to each sub..

I'll say.. thirty five hundred even and fifteen grand peak/burp.

Woofer porn. I'm rather interested to see some specs too.. Anyone wanna bet on the RMS and peaks?

1995 Cadillac Deville, 2 Fi Q 15's, AQ2200D
cedartowndawg replied to CadillacMatt's topic in Build Logs
Great Stuff would make a, well, great foam for sealing, it's what they use when they join mobile homes and things like that. I wanna say there's three different varieties of it now, the original, one for outdoor and maybe one for marine but I'm not sure about the last. Expands after you spray it in and sets hard.
